As a Diluc enthusiast who can actually clear abyss, his best team right now (before Xianyun) is Diluc, Benny, Furina and Kazuha(or sucrose), it definitely needs low ping to be able to swap to kaz and immediately E but the rotation is:
Furina EQ, Kazuha Q, Bennet EQ, Kazuha tap E and ideally not plunging, but it's whatever, and then Diluc E-N2-E-N1-E-N1-Q (It needs two normal attacks after the first E because if not, Pyro will take over)
No, C0 furina will never get max stacks in this team. at c0 Yelan could be better but idk.
This rotation is actually REALLY strong with enough crit and EM on Diluc, not ideal or "meta", but it definitely works. Look up Cavernman Diluc videos, that guy is crazy, there's also Pulyn but that's a whale speedrunner.
To be fair, pseudo-mono pyro with this team (or switching kazuha for jean or furina for xiangling for true mono) will clear with basically any carry. That team specifically I cleared with when using Yanfei, Xinyan, and Pyro Keqing (KEQW). Granted, that's running it as forward vape while your rotation lets you run it as reverse vape, but still, Benny + Furina + Kazuha(/Jean) is just a strong core that can really hard carry.
I've also been watching cavernman recently and his theory crafting helps a lot with optimizing rotations. in this team, its important to consider whether to infuse pyro or hydro with kazu burst depending on if you need aoe or single target damage. its better to infuse hydro for dilucs AOE but better to infuse pyro for single target and let your furina pets do their thing
My ping is 150 and i gotta say i had to alternate the rotation and use furina charge attack to garantee double vv otherwise 2/10 times it wont happen in time

I'm happy that Diluc is coming bak to the meta, he's the batman of genshin, the og main dps, one of the main characters of the manga and persona non grata in Snezhnaya he deserves a new top tier support and team! I think Mihoyo really likes his character, they gave him the only 5 stars skin, relevance to the main story, adapted his back story in the webtoon etc... Can't wait for his underground organisation to be an ally during the Snezhnaya against the Tsarita, hope we can smuggle him in even though he's blacklisted

Retriburgeon unironically feels insanely good when it works. I don't have Baizhu but I rly wish I did so I could try the Furina variation
@@Hakumai_o7 Furina isn’t all that great in retriburgeon anyways, the dmg% really only benefits Nahida. It’s theoretically better in AoE, but Baizhu isn’t gonna fair super well as solo dendro in AoE for it regardless. No grouper either which is pain for a claymore user like Diluc that doesn’t have AoE like Noelle. If you’re running double hydro with Furina and Baizhu you could go hybrid build on Diluc for more of a benefit, but I’m not sure if it would even calc higher than his traditional team. Really only worth it if you just like that team or units more.

Its a vod from his regularly streamed content on twitch a platform in which he regularly tests characters and gives his opinion as a TCrafter
That setup is not ping dependent, I did with 270+ ping consistently. Zajef just had skill issue.

Also, she is not as big of a deal for diluc as everyone keeps saying. It's not just numbers game, and the buff isn't free, not really better than his current teams in terms of total team dps, and dragonstrike melt is just better let's be real.
@@almightynoob1631 Keep in mind that dragonstrike isn't done with a simple click. Diluc with Xianyun can reach the same/better DPS without loosing your hair by trying to do dragonstrikes. It also looks like you're really underestimating how good Xianyun's flat DMG is, not to mention that she gives him some AoE capabilities since he can't dragonstrike in AoE.
@@tropfresh_ he can do it in AoE though?? Xianyun's buff is amazing, yes. But in multi-target, it affects just one enemy, for the rest it's like she isn't even there, and then you consider that you paid for the buff by not having CC and also losing VV, so your team dps falls off, compared to if you were double swirling. Plus, even in zajef's clip above as well as my video, you can see that the hydro from furina is barely enough, and then you factor in the need to use diluc's Es and Xianyun swirling some off every other plunge, it's not going to feel good at all. You will be able to play around it but it will lengthen your field time and rotation, while also feeling awkward and clunky at times. I doubt with more than one enemy she will even overtake his vape teams, let alone dragonstrike that works just as well in multi target as in single target.
@@tropfresh_ Basically she is as big of an upgrade as people are saying if you are just a casual diluc player. But if you can already do good setups with his vape and melt teams, then it's really not much worth considering the teams feel smoother to play as well once you get the hang of your setup

i dont understand how the TC community praises high skill teams like sukkokumon , but when Diluc has some higher skill setups to pull off they just scoff at them. I don't even like Diluc but this feels a bit biased against him

@@oshp.2879 if you google sukkokumon you find some theorycrafters praising it and a video of zajef called sukkokumon pure joy plus the kqm mains guide acknowledges it as a valid team and has an in depth guide. so yes they do
As someone who is not biased against either sukkokumon looks way more fun to try and practice than any of dilucs teams. Its not just about skill its about how fun and satisfying it looks to people and fun and satisfying is subjective. Also no one normal is trying sukokomon in the first place. Its a flex your skill team and thats the satisfaction. People who want to play diluc do it cause they love diluc not to flex their skill. cause then they just try sukokomon instead. The satisfaction from succesfully pulling off sukokomon to me looks far more fun than any diluc team.
Though that is not to say zajef isnt biased he is. And you can tell when he complains about yelan because he is biased for xingqui. I just dont think sukokomon is a good comparison.
@@fakelove1532 you completely missed the point. This comment is talking about the Theorycrafting community not the general community so no fun shouldn't be a factor. It should be the team's strength. Ganyu wasn't considered fun but she was so powerful at the time of release she was broadly covered by the Theroycrafting side of the community
@@neyo231 if you want me to say it sukokomon also looks consistently stronger too and works more on a wider variety of enemies too since it also has better aoe and crowd control. Its more fun because it looks more consistent and therefore better. Diluc is very single target. If you expect zaj and theory crafters to say dilic + 3 top meta units are better than 4 top meta units. (Ok so kokomi isnt a top top meta unit but shes still considered great nowadays tiers hier in utility and strength to team comps compared to diluc)
All of sukokomon are aoe damage dealers except guoba which doesnt matter because sucrose then swirls aoe pyro. And then you still have access to xianglings pyronado. Also whilst all of dilucs team comps are meta diluc himself is not known as meta for a reason. Since you mentioned them, Theorycrafters outside zajef dont mention diluc for a reason except if you specifically request his team comps which is what happened here with zaj. Its the same type of problems people have with a unit like yoimiya (same type not the same problems) theory crafting always includes viability factor such as how consistent how annoying it is to execute. So whilst yes they do say w x y and z is viable they will also give their view how worthwhile they think it is to pull it off and the overall effectivenss consistency etc. Also zaj did exactly what you said theorycrafters do. He said dilucs teams arent fun but he still showed viable teams anyway. If you want him to lie and say "how fun" too when you just said theorycrafters admit how boring she is. Also op brought up sukokomon to compare to diluc teams. Maybe just maybe all theorycrafters praise it because it is better and more consistent and therefore more fun to them (gasp they have an opinion how dare they!) And also ganyu again another terrible example because yes she worked before and she used to be a top meta unit meanwhile dilucs value was already falling off. Ganyu was so good you couldnt ignore her type deal. If you want people to say that about diluc watch 1.0 genshin videos.

As a diluc main, when it comes to melt, I do not think rosaria is good. If u wanna go melt diluc use c6 diona and/or melt support kaeya.
Burgeon diluc is also very strong as well. Preferably use nahida but dendro traveler can substitute ofc, especially if u have c6.
If ur gonna play vape diluc I really only recommend xingqiu. Not only is he fast, he can provide ok healing for a second. Furina CAN work BUT the effort required might not be worth it when easier to build and more consistent options exist.
Jean can also be used as in general shes pretty slept on.
As for cloud retainer being a diluc buff, not sure how worth that’s gonna be. We will hv to wait and see but I don’t think it’s gonna be a massive boost or anything.
Another thing to add. Something I tend to notice with people who do not play diluc is that they try to play him and thus treat him like a slower hu tao.
This obviously doesn’t work as hu tao is built for single target burst while diluc is made better in aoe teams.
Burgeon especially supports his strong aoe potential.
And to touch on plunge attack diluc again. Cloud retainer will definitely be interesting to explore so I’ll hold most of my opinions until she’s actually out.

The thing is with furina requires special set ups or low ping for a specific setup my fav is with using Furina's CA to stop spawns and kazuha infusion to hydro and hold E inside bennet burst(with abit timing right after burst ticks) to get asap double swirl then CA on Furina.
calcs suggest that CR will greatly increase diluc's dps just off of the raw multipliers. the playstyle isn't for everybody but it'll be really good

i am also a diluc main and i play on mobile casually. unless the abyss is really anti pyro i have no issues clearing with him every rotation, his rotations are flexible and ping friendly, also easy to execute. love my man

To be fair, I still find Furina to be enough for hydro application for Diluc as she is not affected by character switching, burst animations and stuff which Xq and Yelan are affected by. If you burst infuse hydro with Kazuha you will be more free to do your rotations than having Xq on team.

Are you talking about the one with Xingqui? Bosses cannot be frozen so the cryo eats the hydro aura and nothing happens, if it was a frezzeable enemy you would get melts

You should play 4p Echos mono pyro Diluc and 4p Mare Diluc, also there is another teams too like yelan furina, diona(should be on 4p instructor) rosaria and so many other teams that I could easily 36 abyss with it
