What are some more interesting games that absolutely never came home?

Prop Cycle. There used to be a cabinet of this crazy game at a bowling alley I frequented. I always thought that I would buy one when I got older so I could use it to stay in shape.
It didn't happen, but I'd love to try it again some day.
They could have made it work on the Dreamcast fishing controller...

Big Fight: Trouble in the Atlantic Ocean
It's a really fun beat'em up game (also has versus mode), where bosses become playable after beating them. The game has quite a few branch paths, which really ups the replay value.

4:15 - I think this revelation needs to be more widespread. It definitively proves that Billy Mitchell couldn't have performed his world record runs on an unmodified Donkey Kong arcade cabinet, as if it were unmodified, he would be playing Radar Scope.

The original 2,000 donkey Kong cabinets were converted from radar scope but there were upwards of 80,000 units sold in America alone so it's not like every donkey Kong game was a conversion. This isn't exactly a smoking gun that proves Billy Mitchell is a liar and a cheater. But there's enough evidence of that already anyways lol

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is not a spinoff. It's the main series. They have changed the name from Yakuza to Like a Dragon to match the Japanese name for the series, and they turned it into a turn-based game. You get the old style in actual spinoffs like Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name and the Judgement games.

64th Street was a precursor for Jaleco's Super Famicom "Rushing Beat" series; early ad screenshots of the original game (released as "Rival Turf" overseas) had the protagonist (also named Rick) dressed in the same pants and overalls combo as 64th St's Rick. He was modified into a Cody clone by the time the game hit the shelves.

If you ever do a "Left in the Arcade 11", one game you should review is Kaiser Knuckle/Global Champion (as well as its Dan-Ku-Ga update). Granted it technically did eventually get a home release via the Taito Egret II miniconsole in 2022, but considering that a game featured in this video also got a techincal home release on Evercade, I think that Kaiser Knuckle/Global Champion should also qualify for a LITA review.

The worst part about Planet Harriers is that Hikaru boards are notoriously fragile due to defective soldering on the BGAs which will pop off the board if they are handled roughly or sometimes just due to heat cycling putting stress on the solder joints. Every Hikaru board is on borrowed time and will eventually unalive itself at some point by means of one of the BGAs falling off the PCB just from being used.

Hey @Game Sack, can you do a video episode of Nintendo published and created Arcade games like Donkey Kong, Skyskipper, Popeye, Punch-Out!!, etc.? please. I do hope Hamster puts Radar Scope to the Nintendo Switch eShop as an Arcade Archives someday.

I totally missed out on Planet Harriers. But Air Twister is just like it. And that's created by the original creator of Space Harrier. And being a big fan of Space Harrier I grew to love Air Twister, even though it also plays more like Panzier Dragoon 😅

Infinite Wealth is not a Yakuza spinoff, actually it's the most recent mainline game. SEGA phased out the Yakuza name for Like a Dragon (a translation of the japanese name Ryu ga Gotoku) since the Ishin remake.

I worked in the same building as Sega in the early '00s, and they let us go up and play the Planet Harriers they had in the lobby whenever we wanted.

Spikeout from Sega is the most groundbreaking game ever made. Coming out in the Arcade on the Model 3 in the future year of 1988! Mind blowing 3D graphics that bend reality. Sort like things you would see in 1998 but 10 years earlier! Also Sega Super GT/ SCUD Race is based off the short lived BPR racing series. Features licensed cars that raced in the series including the McLaren F1 GTR and Dodge Viper GTS.

I wish some of those arcade racing games would show up in a compilation pack, I'd buy it day one. These games still look good today and we don't get many good arcade racers.
