Today is the Feast of the Holy Family, and the Gospel narrates to us that Joseph and Mary presented the Child Jesus in the Temple when they had completed the days of purification. They offered turtledoves, which was the option for poor families.
Simeon received the Child, while Anna talked of him “to all who were awaiting the redemption of Jerusalem.” Afterwards, the Holy Family returned to Nazareth where “the Child grew and became strong; filled with wisdom.”
Friends, the Holy Family is a concrete image of God’s plan that the family be the context where every person could grow as a full human being and child of God.

Today is the Feast of the Holy Family.
Thank you Jescom for this video shared and thanks to Cardinal Tagle and his staff. I understand that a family that live unitedly with the fear of the Lord with love regardless of disagreements sometimes will still live, grow and survive and remain whole for they started to live full of love and protection and remain standing unitedly with the Lord living with mercy and compassion full of reconciliations with eachother, kindness and understanding prevails for Christ's love still remains in our hearts. Let us ask the Holy spirit to come into our hearts and mind to give us wisdom to strenghten our souls so we will become strong and the love of Jesus in obedience with His teachings for each membèr will make our family intact. Let Jesus be our light to guide us to love, respect and have the wisdom from the Holy Spirit to remain in so we will grow and remain with the Lord. As a catholic if we want our family intact we have to understand eachothers weaknesses and strenghts so we can be always at peace let love prevail and reconciliations be achieved
Do not cease to pray and go to church to hear the word, confess and receive the bread of life and wine with water transformed into Jesus flesh and blood in the Holy Eucharist so He will remain to live in us in order for us to attain salvation and gain eternal life in heaven
My friends at this time of pandemic we shall always pray to God to become strong to face whatever trials come our way. Burdens can be minimized if we will allow Christ to stay with us to light and guide us to the right path and the best way of life for He is the Way, the Truth and the life. Let Christ love live in our hearts and make the Holy family as our model to practice the virtue of humility, love, respect, understanding, forgiveness, kindness, mercy and compassion, patience and all others that can lead us if we fall or fail to peace and reconciliations to attain peace in the family, community and the whole world
Let us make ourselves as a family an instrument of peace and allow Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour lead the way His love in our hearts can make us as one family.
Happy feast day to The Holy Family and to all families in the world.
