INGREDIENTS (for pressure cooker):
-2 cups Garbanzo beans (Chickpeas), soaked for at least 6 hours
-1 tsp Black Tea or 1 tea bag
-1/2 tsp Baking Soda
-1 inch Cinnamon stick
-1 black Cardamom pod
-2 green Cardamom pods
-4 Cloves
INGREDIENTS (for tadka or tempering):
-2T Ghee or Oil
-1 cup Onions, finely chopped
-1/2 cup Tomatoes, finely chopped
-2T Tomato Paste
-1T Ginger Garlic Paste
SPICES:
-1T Cumin Powder
-1.5T Coriander Powder
-1/5T Ginger Powder
-1T Amchur Powder
-1T Anardana Powder
-1 tsp Turmeric
-3/4 tsp Red Chili Powder
-2 tsp Salt
-1 tsp Garam Masala
-1/2 tsp Dry Fenugreek Leaves (Kasoori Methi)
