- Try THIS Glitter Technique for gorgeous results in your resin pieces!
In this video I show you how to do one of my favorite resin techniques using glitter so let’s make some resin fall theme trinket dishes! I will be using Let’s Resin DEEP POUR epoxy to try to avoid as many air bubbles as possible along the edge of the trinket dishes but you can use whichever resin you have. This is an easy resin technique that can elevate your resin pieces. Be sure to leave your thoughts on this glitter technique down below, I’d love to know your thoughts!
*When working with resin please make sure you are wearing the right PPE and working in a well ventilated area. Resin is a chemical and can make you sick if the right precautions aren’t taken.*

These are all so cute (and oh my gosh the little Harry Potter heart dish was great too!). I think even with the air bubbles the second one is my favorite. I love that glitter effect on the bottom.

I love the copper coloured one. You may have lost the wood grain look on the back, but you kept it on the inside of the dish, which is the part that will be seen. Well done!
I liked the middle one the best! But they all are really nice! You could use the purple one for Halloween !

The purple one is my favorite
They all turned out really cute! The kids would love the first one for Halloween. You wouldn't even notice the bubbles in the second one because of the edge shape. I love the suspended glitter in the third one. 😍

ohh yess. These molds are a little bigger than my usual trinket dish molds but one the size of a plate would be amazing!!!
I love all things purple, but the middle one is my favorite. I wonder if the clay pieces would have done better in the middle mold bc of the shape? I saw the Harry Potter one on the Shorts, Id love to buy it for my 35 year old daughter! New subscriber.

Oh and thanks for reminding us about the sharp edges. Do you sand them down? What count of grain??
I have a bit of a suggestion. Unsure if someone suggested it in the past, but this reminds me of those water droplets. Why not put a layer of clear resin down, then a slightly different color of water droplets and then the layer on top? It might help in the future of not damaging the molds!
Your favorite is mine; next is the other one, with the purple one my least favorite. On the purple one, I think the inserted chunky stuff was too large for delicate edges; if you had put the purple glitter in place of it, it might have been a favorite.
can i put air dry clay in these molds?
I would like to do a trinket dish with pearls and beads, is there a trinket mold you might recommend?
hmm Im not sure but you definitely want one where you can easily put in the beads. I have another video of a different style of trinket dish and as long as the beads aren’t too big Im pretty sure it would work.
