I find that if I don't place a clear coat of Modge Podge or other sealer over the paper or tape I use with epoxy it will sometimes change the color of the paper/tape I am using and the design is lost or distorted without a clear coat. That's just my experience with it.

I def need to try Counter Culture. I currently use Total Boat, but the pots here seem bubble free!
I haven't tried Total Boat... CCDIY can have bubbles, but pretty easy to sort out once you you get used to using it😊

Absolutely love this tutorial and version 2 (with the fabric ) been practicing that and honing my beginner resin skills lol. Love all your tutorials ❤️ thank you for sharing and teaching us! I found that letting them sit for a bit before doing the glitter layer helps prevent it from leaking through....after an accident of glitter taking over a couple of the hearts 🤣

These are beautiful! I just want to make sure I am not missing a step: does the washi tape not need to be sealed with clear coat or mod podge?
So glad you like them💕. I think it depends on the washi tape you use . The ones I use are from thewashitapeshop.com, and I've never had to seal them in any way, as they seem to already have a coating on them. Also, my resin starts curing within 25 minutes, so it doesn't have a lot of time to soak into the washi tape.
