  • Here's the Kenwood Excelon aftermarket stereo upgrade I did on my 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis. I also put a Clifford remote start on the car when I had the stereo upgraded. I no longer have this vehicle, but I had fun with it while I did!

You never did a video on the remote starter? Did it bypass the PATS system? was it straightforward to install?

I feel the same about the sound. Nothing crazy just a little more quality is all. Nice car. Looking to do the same with my 2011 Marquis as well. Thank you!

Recently, I got an '07 GM LS and overall in decent shape. Not as clean as the GM in the vid but god damn, these cars are the best. The Keyfob upgrade is so sick bro. I need to get new speakers and the Keyfob. super badass. Great vid playa.

Thank you! I don't have the Mercury anymore, but it was a clean car for sure! And you're right, these are good cars. The Panther Platform, which is what this vehicle rides on is very robust. You should read the article I wrote on my website. I wrote a review of the 2000 Grand Marquis (www.buildpriceoption.com/2000-mercury-grand-marquis-review) and I did a video review as well ruclips.net/video/ji7BxamTTi8/видео.html - Thanks for watching and enjoy that car!

Thank you. I see a black LS around here with what sounds like a very built up motor and I can hear the guy shirting gears!

Sounds good! I have a 2000 Grand Marquis and a 2003 Lincoln Town Car.
Probably going to upgrade the stereo in the Grand Marquis.

Did you need an adapter to install the stereo or did it fit right in
