- Even though they have only one pickup, single pickup guitars can be very versatile and let you get creative. Sasha shows us two fantastic Gibson Custom Shop and Fender Custom Shop guitars. By the way, that Two Rock TS1 sounds killer we think. Check em out!

Great guitars both! And the playing is top notch too!
One of my favourite clips on RUclips. 2 great guitars.
That first chord on the LP Junior sums up the tone of a Junior for me. It’s vibrant yet spongy from the first touch of the string. Love it.
A CS Junior is at the top of my “want” list.
When you get one, try rolling the tone knob back and you’ll see how it cleans up. The volume and tone controls are very interactive. Great guitars.
With the gain up and tone cut back a tad, instant Santana
I love one-pickup guitars. So much so that I built my own LP-Style and put a humbucker sized P90 in it. I love it. I don’t need no stinking neck pickup.
As much as I worship a neck pickup on a strat, one only needs a p90 near the bridge going straight into a dimed low watt tube amp.
I own a 61 les paul jr and its a Swiss army knife. Amazing guitar
You need both! I need both!
DC Jrs are so badass but so are Esquires! Awesome playing man.
Amazing, spectacular, serene and firm at the same time. Sensitive. Very good. Congrats.
Dude, what tasteful playing! Hendrix vibes and perfect tone. You sir are a great player. Ive been warming up to a single pickup g, but I'd probably go neck in my strat.
What an awesome video you made... I enjoeyed it so much! 🤩
wonderful guitar playing and tone.
great video.your playing and guitars are excellent.
I love your channel, great playing and beautiful tasty guitars!
Really excellent and tasteful demo.
I sure do miss my 1951 Esquire.
My favorite vintage guitars
Absolutely killing it with that Gibson! What pedals are you using? Those tones are amazing.
Thanks!! That is a combination of a cranked preamp from a univibe with the vibe in cancel mode with the Cornerstone Gladio. Such a sweet tone. The preamp makes it quite noisy, so I won't be using that as much as I'd like.. 😄- Sasha
@@maxguitarstore Such a wonderful tone. What vibe were you using?
Awesome playing and awesome guitars
Two of my favorites!
You do all great videos.
Did an Esquire initially have no Vol as well as no tone in the first position??? I’ve one and it has master vol on all settings.
As per Leo Fender design, original Esquires had the following configuration during their whole production run:
- back (bridge): volume ON, tone OFF;
- middle: both volume and tone ON;
- front (neck): volume ON, tone OFF, fixed caps and resistors for muffled tone.
@@lshin80 I thought so. I thought I heard him say there’s no vol on the first position!! I’ve 2 Esquire’s and I love them.
Tasty playing! I love single pup guitars too.
I love tele’s I reckon because you know…Keef! Tuned to open G behbaaay! But I play my LP Jr. more than my tele because it sounds fatter played straight in no chaser into a tweed deluxe or champ. And sounds like rabid wolves howling and mating at midnight through my Marshall 2204. Fat tone like the rear end on a ‘57 Chevy. Have mercy in a chicken basket!
Beautiful 🤩. I just didn’t know.
Holy crap that tone!
There is nothing like the bridge pup on a Tele.
You throw a little dirt on it and she'll raise the dead!
And it works amazingly with any neck pickup: tele or strat single coil, humbucker, p90, filtertron, dearmond, charlie christian... It is awesome
I don't even need to see the video to up-thumb THIS one!
other than my neck complaint, you are one of the finer guitarists demoing on You Tube.
the Tele sounds better than the Jr
Both need flatwound strings
Squire more versatile than that les paul, n if u have a neck pickup itll be even more versatile 😂🤣😂
why so you rock the neck back and forth? I can't stand it, that's it, weaken the neck. Les Paul is rolling over in his grave.
Give me a break. It’s a guitar not a Stradivarius. Besides, he’s rocking the guitar back and forth not “dive bombing” the neck.
