    The great advantage with the X-terra Pro is you can use all the same coils as the other MineLab detector coils YAY!!! The wireless setup is a bonus, Here in Aussie Land the wireless headphones go for around $179 ish but you can also use the the wired setup $59.00 AUD for the adapter lead and around about $35 to $$60 AUD for the MineLab KOSS headphones and all within an affordable price range even for an old guy like me. Going by the way the E-Terra tries to discriminate iron from non-ferrous is as I've seen with some US detectorist a bit confusing for them but anyone worth listening to would dig the target just to be sure and using a larger coil may clarify any glitchy uncertainty. I was impressed from the first moment I saw that it had a good depth detection. So as I said previously Kris this little gem will be on my " What I Want For My " birthday list . You little beauty. Great review and really amazing for the price $498-$520's AUD. Maybe a bigger coil. Yeah Mate well done and now with all the many hours of training my ears to the MineLab tones I can translate this to target ID"s thanks to you and the many hours of watching your videos and not forgetting some of the Aussie detectorists as well. Cheers Mate👍👍👍😎💨🏴‍☠💡☮☮☕☕🔧

    Have you noticed almost all the Minelab detectors have the same housing. Easier for manufacturing and replacing parts. Ill bet the electronics are almost all the same too. A minor change here and there. Most of the difference is in the software. The detectors are all programmable so I bet if someone figured out how to load NOX or CTX software into an Xterra, you could beat the high prices.

  • @lancepeterson5408
    @lancepeterson5408 Год назад +2

    A big reason Minelab can sell this machine for so cheap is because of the 12×9" eliptical coil. If they would of put the 11" round coil on it stock, it would be a 500$ machine. The machine is even better with the 11"coil. Steady VDI and greater depth.

      He just needs to lower the Sensitivity down below Full Sensitivity and he is getting the Ground Feedback on the X-Terra Pro and it's more powerful than the other Detectors that are in the same price range and the lower sensitivity will help it come in and I started with 12 Sensitivity and I have seen some people are all the way down to 2 sensitivity and other's are in the 6-10 sensitivity range and you can tell when you hear the extra blips and that's telling you that it's too much Sensitivity for that Area of Detecting and it's a Site Dependent Detector and what is working on one site May not work on another.... and it has more hidden features settings that Not Many people are changing and getting to know what the X-Terra Pro is trying to tell them about the target.... And it will....😮....
