Moved to Brunswick a year ago & I LOVE IT. Growing up in NYC, I dreamed of living in a slower paced, lots of nature, & fresh food. Brunswick gives me islands, beaches, trails, close camp sites, fresh air, & the peace & quiet I dream of. I see stars at night, & the world famous Buc'ees is coming offering lots of jobs. Also more companies are moving here so lots of people as well. It is getting more expensive & education like many places can be a hit/miss. We also did get some hurricane Helene, but only lost power for 4 days & had to throw out all the food. Worst we've gotten weather wise. It does get pretty chilly in the winter but most of the year it's pretty warm. I LOVE Brunswick & I'm blessed to live here. 🙏🏽🌷Thank you for the video.
I appreciate your perspective and I’m glad you're enjoying Brunswick. And NYC winters are on another level, Brunswick's chill can't even compare! Thanks for tuning in and watching!
I lived in Brunswick for 8 months back in 2016. I had no vehicle and there was barely any public transportation there. Me and my friends went to Walmart almost like every week. And we were offered a ride by strangers multiple times because they saw us walking holding big groceries bags in our hands 🥹 made some really great friends there. There’s nothing much to do but I never stop missing that place.
Transportation can be a challenge in towns like this where public options are limited. However, since 2016, services like Uber and Lyft have made it easier to get around. While it may cost more than traditional public transit, at least you no longer have to walk home with groceries in hand. Thanks for sharing your memories with us, and thank you for watching!
Nice video. I'm from Brunswick. When people do videos of Brunswick, they tend to focus on the historical downtown and the south end of town. Don't get me wrong, it's beautiful downtown. The whole other end of Brunswick does not look historical or dated. There are several up-to-date neighborhoods, apartment buildings, restaurants, and shopping centers.
Next time I'm in the area, I'll definitely check it out. I love exploring historical places when I visit towns like Brunswick. Here in Florida, where I live, most things have been renovated or newly built, so it's rare to find those hidden gems that your town has to offer. Thank you for watching!
Very well done. I live in hell st augustine fl and several of my friends have moved there. You said 64% black which is great. I grew up in Amistad country New London CT. I'm mixed and all my friends have always been black. I didn't grow up with my white father just my Jamiacan Mom. I didn't see anybody in your video except that 1 place you showed where everybody was white. If you did another video I would definitely watch. One of my friends said she could only find a place in the country but there's a large store right across the street. Not really in touch with my other friends that moved there. Here's hoping you do another video of Brunswick GA. According to Craigslist there's nothing available hopefully that will change thanks for the info
There’s a strong Black community in that area. When I drove through the neighborhood where you saw the man mowing his lawn, most of the residents were Black. You should consider spending a weekend there to explore and see if it’s a good fit for you. If I visit again, I plan to film more of the Black community. Thanks for watching, and I appreciate you being part of the channel!
Incorrect! Common sense dictates that there are records of everyone in the USA who gets married. You must have forgotten that every application you sign asks if you're single, married, or divorced. The government maintains these records. Thanks for watching!

How far from Atlanta? I've been in Savanah, Macon,Atlanta.
From Brunswick, 4 hours 25 mins by car.
Thank you. I had considered moving there once as near Jekyll and St Simons. The crime rate makes it a bad option. Have a great day.
