ESO practically saved my life. I went from a bad heroin addiction for 10 years to playing ESO on my free time instead. Thank you Elder Scrolls! Best rehab ever!
I wish the theme would come back, or at least the various themes could be chosen at game launch. I do miss the epic feel of this soundtrack. It really set the stage (for me) the battle against Molag Bal and fighting legions of Daedra. I know Bal has taken a back seat in the newer expansions (ahem, and chapters), but being there at launch you felt the sinister talons of Bal everywhere.
@@Jericho_oO I loved that sentence, it's so true. But I've always thought that wasn't the only problem. The fact that the game started with mandatory mensuality made it fall. Those kind of games are not appealing at first and you would only pay if you knew for sure you would enjoy the game. If they had started since the beginning with the optional mensuality like it is today, the game would have been loved since day 1.
+Gial Ackbar The gentle clicking as you swap from character to inventory then to the map with that page turning noise as you go to see where abouts you are on the map of Cyrodiil.
Michael Prunka Same here, nothing helps me batter through work than the thought of facing Aldmeri and Ebonheart scum later on :-P, Daggerfall will reign supreme!!
+adamsgaming DIVISION You're laughing at yourself, many people who play games have a social life. I played a lot of Teso lately, I work, I go to gym, and I often meet with my friends, I don't see your points about dedicated gamers.
+Michael Prunka I associate certain music to things I study or am doing. So playing this while doing my online course means later when I hear this music I will not only think of hacking my way through Tamriel, I'll also remember the knowledge my course has given me! jbloun911 the game itself is not bad. it's just missing something. and i'm not sure what. i think we should give it a little more time. maybe till update 7
SwongoBricks I agree I think allot of people are mistakenly considering it a bad game when really it's just doesn't have the "feel" of a TES game. I think it's still hella fun regardless and my only real problem is that it may be breaking some lore elements with the whole "any race with any faction" thing which is sweet for gameplay but kinda doesn't fit with the lore.
I came here to listen to music while I work, but I cant. Since I turned off the music to the game (about 4 years ago) I haven't heard the music since. Listening to this has given me so many nostalgic memories and flashbacks to a stress-free time in my life where I could immerse myself and ignore the outside world. Now I'm final year of Uni and there's a lot to clean up. I'd like to experience this feeling of immersion again at some point in the future, it's just sad to think it'll probably be when I'm retired and ESO will be a long lost game.
So proud of myself for sticking with the game since launch. It has truly been an experience. The game has only gotten better and I can’t wait to see what the future holds.
I'm so late to the party having only just started my first character! I'm lvl 15 and can't believe I waited this long to try this. Best mmo i've ever played!
This soundtrack is awesome, elder scrolls V: Skyrim soundtrack was phenomenal, but does anyone here still like Oblivion soundtrack the best? It's not quite as epic as the other 2, but it seems more soothing and atmospheric.
Yeah it is funny that one of my favourite parts of the soundtrack is an oblivion theme. Actually this soundtrack is really nice, but there's problems with it blending with the game. It's made for an MMO where there's not much dynamic activity with the NPCs so it's hard to have the right theme playing in the right place. Sometimes the right music happens but it's random not intended. On the other hand a lot of the time the music just feels strange for the area you are in the game. This is my opinion after playing ESO for 6 months. I wish they had more epic music for PvP battles as well. Evnetually I just ended up muting the music, even though I do enjoy listening to the soundtrack. Oblivion soundtrack is still memorable even if it's a bit dated. Main reason is I had a couple of moments in the game that just stick with you and the music playing at that time was great, so just listening to it reminds of you of that moment in the game.
"Northpoint Nocturne" 02:15:35 This makes me imagine a peacefull snowy landscape, a small polar fox is chasing a squirrel, and your partner has just finished starting the campfire. The sun is rising. I swear, when I heard "Dawn Gleams on Cyrodiil", I quite literally felt like Samurai Jack when he sees the ruins of his old home. The sense of nostalgia and sadness over a once beautiful land now torn asunder by minions of Oblivion. To know the glorious Empire burns in Molag Bal's hand. It breaks one's heart but also brings back good memories or TES4 (although with different empires). Made me feel just like Samurai Jack.
+Burrito Measter Roasted like, that one time, I... got in a fight.. In.. highschool and then... I lost.. my friends made fun of me... I have lost all dignity... I mean when I totally won that fight!
my top 5 favorite soundtracks is: -Rubble and smoke (34:03) -whispers of the ancestors (51:31) Rik Schaffer northpiont nocturne (02:15:35) -sands of the Alik'r (58:06) - to dance with daedra (1:21:55)
-whispers of the ancestors (51:31) is a banger. I use this video to write my fantasy novel and by the time this song starts playing, I already write for 50 minutes and tempo stabilizes... And stuff starts happening!
How does Jeremy Soule keep doing it. His music just keeps getting more brilliant every year I first hear his music when Icewind Dale came out in 2000. and have been listening to him ever since

The second song Moons of Evening Star is very relaxing. There has been several times where I would pass out in front of my computer and the game would log me out. I would wake up with this song playing on the title screen after getting booted.
jeremy soule isn't behind the soundtrack for this game sadly. he's made the elder scrolls music since at least morrowind i know, and he made the amazing soundtracks for guild wars, but not ESO for some reason. anyway i love the GW soundtracks, both of them are so great and so similar it's hard to pick between GW1 and 2.
You guys should check out the music added to GW2 during Living World Season 2. Listening to the on my final leg of recording Dunnmer lines for Skywind .... after 5 years on this project, it's bittersweet but I've learnt and grown into the VA I am today because of this project. I can't way for Skywind to be released!
Fun fact: in the game Oblivion there is a book called children of the sky and it talks about speaking the dragon language and shouting foreshadowing the dragonborn
This must be a dream... listened for the whole thing, got this moment replayed for dozens of times, tried to search for it and bam - here's you comment~
Weapons Drawn, I still remember the first time I heard this epic tune; Right after I managed to sneak into the tower and open the gates to allow the Covenant soldiers to storm the fort and take it back from the enemy forces. The very moment I pulled the lever, this music started and I heard shouting and steel clashing outside. When I stepped through the door, the once calm "courtyard" I sneaked through a few moments ago was now covered in dead bodies, allies and foes alike, and the ragings of war going on in every known direction. One of the most epic game moments I had the pleasure to live through. People say it is a shitty game and has nothing to do with Skyrim. I say play this game without thinking of Skyrim and you won't miss out. I guarantee it.
This sound track scares me, because I know that one day in 5 years I'm going to be listening to it again, but I'll be missing it instead of enjoying it :-(
i love eso, i used to play it a lot every summer and had a good bunch of online friends from it. we used to goof around so much and do stupid things. man it was so fun. never got tired of listening to this either.
Playing the muted game at the moment and listening to your stream ;-p I really can't believe how long I've ignored The Elder Scrolls Online, although I love all the offline games of the franchise. Since Steam made a sale on Valentine's weekend, I got me the Imperial Edition --- and well I am totally sucked into the game. The graphics, the incredible soundtrack, the main story line, many of the quests -- it's so amazing. And I am in some really nice and friendly guilds too. Just try it already if you love the Elder Scrolls. It's just so lore heavy. With a lot of quests (not all of them of course) where you really care about the outcome.
I remember when 36:19 started playing during the end of the last mage's guild quest. Anyone that's done it will know. I nearly shed a tear because of how well it fitted.
I’m LIVING for the amount of English horn used in this score jfc! I’m an Oboe/EH player and I prefer to play English horn so hearing it so much in this score makes me so happy ☺️
Just returned to this game a couple weeks ago. I forgot how much fun it is! The new updates (especially One Tamriel) make it way better too! And the music.....fantastic!!!!
Frosty Ace does the world feel populated though? It's not a very popular MMO so I hope the players are all on one server rather than split up in to lots of them and making the world feel empty.
RedPillDestiny Everybody is on one megaserver so you have the European one and the American one. Just choose which one you want to play on and you'll be playing with every single other person on that server. No hassle in which server to pick. I've just recently picked it up after stopping the second month after launch. The improvements they've made since release is staggering, especially considering the work they had in front of them to "fix" the game. I'd say give it a shot, the subscription is already gone so no reason to not try it :)
I kind of miss this title theme, I feel like it's much more epic than the current Morrowind one, although the Morrowind one definitely has the feels of TES III.
Been playing the game on and off for the past 4 years, happy to see how far its come. Were it not for that terribly launch this game would be a lot more popular
xXDjMischiefXx Oblivion had the best music, Skyrim had the best graphics, Morrowind had the best story and I have never play Elder scrolls online so Im not sure xD
xXDjMischiefXx I seriously don't get it lol. I HATED Skyrim's music so much that I replaced the music. The only good track Skyrim had was the starting menu theme. But maybe that's because I played Skyrim so much that the soundtrack eventually irritated me. And I liked Morrowind's soundtrack a lot more. Even Oblivion's was better imo.

The most underrated scoundtrack... This game's initial launch really did it a huge disfavor.
Agreed, that's why i'm so hyped for morrowind. It should bring back players who got put off by the game's initial launch.
Welp, Morrowind is bringing all those who missed out on this game (me included)

Eso was my escape too man, it's just one of those games you can get lost and immersed in, to have your own story.

1:17:00 is one of my favorites.
My fav soundtrack for so many years
The Elder Scrolls - Dreams of Anequina Theme
Gloriosa
I also had a moment fighting the Covenant at Vivec's Antlers while To Dance With Daedra started playing.
This was before skyrim?
Best game and best soundtrack!
This game is so awesome i play it all night and listen to it while I'm at work....obsessed much?
56:37 My favorite
This sound track scares me, because I know that one day in 5 years I'm going to be listening to it again, but I'll be missing it instead of enjoying it :-(
i love eso, i used to play it a lot every summer and had a good bunch of online friends from it. we used to goof around so much and do stupid things. man it was so fun. never got tired of listening to this either.
1) Play and enjoy
2) Play on 2x speed and enjoy it again
Playing the muted game at the moment and listening to your stream ;-p
I really can't believe how long I've ignored The Elder Scrolls Online, although I love all the offline games of the franchise.
Game is really fun now that you can explore everything without worrying about level so much
I remember when 36:19 started playing during the end of the last mage's guild quest. Anyone that's done it will know. I nearly shed a tear because of how well it fitted.
I know
I thought that Skyrim soudtrack was beautiful and it still is. But this is a masterpiece
I love eso so fucking much.. Hate that its so fucking underrated and talked shit by people who've never even played it
fool people would rather judge than play a game and come to their own conclusion.
Tree? Do you know proudmoore? Is this where youve been?
I think I would pay to hear this live. 👏
Listening to this whole thing to find one piece of music I occasionally hear while playing that is incredible!
prepare your self
Update 1.6 is comming
and it will be Awesome
CS 1.6 has been out for quite some time.
I’m LIVING for the amount of English horn used in this score jfc! I’m an Oboe/EH player and I prefer to play English horn so hearing it so much in this score makes me so happy ☺️
Long live the Daggerfall Covenant!
For the covenant!
For the king
Omens in the Clouds gives me chills every time!
I never tought it was posible. They beated the skyrim soundtrack
You have to hear the Oblivion sountrack
Arthas .Menethil no morrowind
i don't know. ..there's still something about the skyrim soundtrack that just does something different to you.
Just returned to this game a couple weeks ago. I forgot how much fun it is! The new updates (especially One Tamriel) make it way better too! And the music.....fantastic!!!!
It’s fucking amazing how each games soundtrack has it’s own indentity.
I have heard the this game has improved a lot since its rocky launch, is it actually good now?
RedPillDestiny Yeah man i bought it on g2a u save like 30 euros/dollars idk and i'm really enjoying it i'de say it's worht it go get it
Frosty Ace
does the world feel populated though? It's not a very popular MMO so I hope the players are all on one server rather than split up in to lots of them and making the world feel empty.
RedPillDestiny Everybody is on one megaserver so you have the European one and the American one. Just choose which one you want to play on and you'll be playing with every single other person on that server. No hassle in which server to pick. I've just recently picked it up after stopping the second month after launch. The improvements they've made since release is staggering, especially considering the work they had in front of them to "fix" the game. I'd say give it a shot, the subscription is already gone so no reason to not try it :)
Cyrrath
okay then :)
RedPillDestiny be careful though. login queues! Lol. But they should last like 15 mins max, and the game is great when you get in.
That's epic. The Elder Scrolls is 1/5 of my life. Skyrim was my first RPG game, and this soundtrack makes me feel in the paradise xD
FOR THE COVENANT!!!
BLOOD FOR THE PACT!!!
FOR THE COVENANT!!!
Fight well soldier.
Less than a month, then I can finally play this game for the first time instead of watching others on RUclips! (I'm getting it on my PS4.)
Am getting it for xbox one am gonna be dragón nigth fire mage or a sorcerer tank
Connor Nicholas good on ya mate
I kind of miss this title theme, I feel like it's much more epic than the current Morrowind one, although the Morrowind one definitely has the feels of TES III.
Ahh, Moons of Evening Star is too freaking epic. I love it so much! It catches the ESO vibe so very well.

Been playing the game on and off for the past 4 years, happy to see how far its come. Were it not for that terribly launch this game would be a lot more popular
Elders scrolls online Ima let you finish, but Skyrim had one of the best soundtracks of all time.
xXDjMischiefXx of all the elder scrolls parts, skyrim was the best...
xXDjMischiefXx Nah, Morrowind for me is the best
xXDjMischiefXx Oblivion had the best music, Skyrim had the best graphics, Morrowind had the best story and I have never play Elder scrolls online so Im not sure xD
Are you kidding? Oblivious soundtrack was number 1
xXDjMischiefXx I seriously don't get it lol.
Thanks so much for the upload. Such a beautiful soundtrack.
