Finally…. a case where the plaintiff can prove their vehicle was wrongfully repossessed.
I would either live close to work, or use public transit. No way that I’m not paying my car on time. It’s a nightmare!
Right lol
That woman is a professional liar. I can't believe JJ fell for that line of crap.
@@mindimartian9821 Dimitri, is that you???
@@mindimartian9821maybe you should become a judge then anyways my good woman got her judgement 🥱
Giirrlll shut up! You’re winning!
She was stressing me out 😫
I know 😮
I was like "ma'am, you do realize you're winning right? Then shut the hell up!"
She was starting to irk me 😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@malcolmgreen2323 I legit was waiting for JJ to tell her “Does it sound like you’re losing?” 😆
@@malcolmgreen2323 So many people who come on this show screw up by running their mouth. They don’t know how to read the room and understand when they are winning.
Sis slapped them insurance papers down like she made her final book in spades 😂
😂
😂😂😂😂
🤣🤣
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
🤣🤣🤣, she definitely would start some drama at a spades table
So basically, his employee stole the money and instead of going after him, he decided to repossess the car even though she had proof she paid this man. Wow, sleazy!
Right?! Ridiculous
🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤯
Yup. Dirty as hell
The defendant accurately personifies the negative term “used car salesman.”
@billdavis6900 aka greasy, slimy and dishonest 😩🙉🤣🤣🤣
For the first time I think Judge Judy was convinced by outbursts, but it was not just random outbursts, they were powered by the truth. Glad the plaintiff won!
❤
Agree. She usually tells people to be quiet
Yeah. Her hyper-defensiveness was an accurate response to someone who knows the defendant is lying. If she hadn't defended herself so adamantly, it would have been fishy. It's just at the end, when JJ was siding with her and she still continued to needle him, that it became unnecessary.
The plaintiff threw that insurance down like she was playing spades. 😂
She had the swagger of being able to write a check for $10,000 and you KNOW it'll clear
That's me when I have the right bower and my opposition played the left bower to win the hand when playing Euchre 🤣
Like she had been holding on to that big joker 🃏 😂😂😂
Could you blame her? I don't.
She really did I thought it was just me lol she was standing on business baby
I’m so glad she won. Sis was ready 😂❤
She was ready! Baby! Ready for all the smoke!
She came with RECEIPTS!!!!!
She didn't pay for the car and she assaulted him. She needs to pay him.
And WAS 😂😂😂😂 I'm so glad she won
@@tessamoland797 documentation beats conversation!🩷
I'm shocked JJ let her make all those side comments. She must've been in a good mood
JJ has a lot of forgiveness when the case is about an egregious injustice. We all know from his avoiding answers about his ex-partner, that the ex-partner was embezzling a lot of money but he cannot get it back so is trying to get it from the victim-customers.
She had lunch before the case 😂😂😂
@@Isitmorningalready2nah sometimes she likes the tea 😂
@@artistjoh 500% true!!
@@artistjohyup. Especially if the defendant is lying through his teeth like this guy was.
She came PREPARED! Had evidence for everything he claimed she didn’t do.. love that for her
It makes sense that the text message that they were moving offices was after his termination so that he could get away with keeping the money knowing that he had no business collecting it from her
Need some more drama please!!
This🙌🏾
Oh yes good observation. I didn’t even think about that. He probably did that to other people too.
Yea he went from working in the main office to his home office 😂😂😂
I believe her. Correct judgement. Thank you JJ👍🏻
One of the greatest episodes ever. You don't know whose in the right until the very end. Full of twists and turns.
It was really this good.😂
I WAS ENJOYING EVERY SECOND OF IT! i was on the edge of my seat!
I skip to the 25 sec mark on each episode. The recaps ruin the video.
I didn't believe a word this man said. Good ruling Judge.
Why not?
Did you even watch the case?
He wasn’t lying at any point.
In fact, he got screwed, too. Big time.
However, the fact that he got unknowingly screwed does not legally satisfy the action he took, which of course involved repossessing the vehicle, and inadvertently screwing the plaintiff.
I honestly was at first. after the middle of part 2 it started to fall off
@@forensix78he was lying. When JJ said was it possible for the partner to have taken the money he paused a long pause the. Said word salad. At no point did he simply say “no, Trevor would never do that”
I lost it when he was still yammering over Byrd telling them to step out 🤣🤣
😂😂😂😂😂
Cracks me up when people do this. They still be carrying on after JJ has left the bench and the room too!
Legend has it he's still in court arguing his lost case
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
omgggggg 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
The defendant is shady af! He was making up everything as he goes.
The auto dealer just said that the windows were intact when they received the car from the repossession company. So if the windows are broken now, then they were broken while in your possession, NOT hers! This guy should be in jail
I thought I was the only one who heard that
@@TWS1977 Great minds think and hear alike!
he looks like Chucky, he should be imprisoned for that alone
No. What he said could make sense. I believe what he meant was the windows are fine (not broken)but it has broken glass still inside. So i'd assume the broken windows were replaced but the interior were not cleaned when he received it from the repo.
Exactly!! I totally missed that. Good Catch. It shows how much of a liar he is that he can't even keep his story straight and it makes him look terrible!
She's so smart to immediately pick up on his colleague having been fired for stealing from the business. She'd make a great detective.
It was blindingly apparent. Didn't take intuition.
Even if she didn’t make the payments this was a easy way to get a win on this case just due to that sleazy employee, genius either way 😂😂
Yayyy! I believed this woman and I'm glad she won the case.
😂😂😂😂him still explaining at the end was hilarious
She should report his business, he is shady af
THIS is why I love JJ, she was able to see through the defendant's professional demeanor and the plaintiff's lack of it to see that the defendant is a thief. That's how those guys make money, they'll make the downpayment the same as what they paid for the car, reposses it, sell it again, reposses it, and sell it again and again. That's why he has that 'strict repossession policy'.
He literally argued that even if she had paid in full if she paid late he could still repo the car, like WTAF?! He is a grade A scammer and you know that car has been sold more than once... smdh
Good point. He was trying to bring up he was legally within his right even if it would have been a petty response to a technicality. JJ wasn't looking to see if her car deserved to be repossessed because she was delayed on the last payment. It was whether she hadn't attempted to pay it off at all.
He was searching went from no payment to late payment to no insurance to a dirty car...
Yes!!! Give that woman back her money!!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
All the money.. 😂😂😂
He’s a piece of work.
cops lawyers judges state prosecutors, second hand car dealers are all corrupt dishonest
Dude was grasping at every possible straw, judge Judy only drinks out of glassware my guy. 😂😂😂😂😂😂
😆👏🏽
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
THE NEXT PLAINTIFF WALKS IN and the defendant is still standing there arguing "With all due respect, with all due respect........."
Some people don’t know when to be quiet in court and let the judge do her job.
Yes. So many episodes JJ had to say her trademark "Does it look like you're losing? Then I suggest you be quiet!"
I’m so glad she won! I believed her from the beginning 🙌🏻
Amen, im glad JJ saw through doughboy's BS! have a good weekend Lunch crew!
Same and you too. ✌️
doughboy😭😭😭😭
Doughboy 🤣🤣 ……you have a good weekend as well?
Tgif!!
You too! ❤
I one hundred percent believe her.
I love to watch these while eating. I had homemade lasagne but hear me out! Premake, don't prebake. Make the sauce and assemble put several in the freezer and throw em in the oven when you ready! It really holds up well and nobody can tell it was frozen 😂
Love baking Lasagna!😊
Good one! Judge Judy rules!
I can't believe Judge Judy allowed them to talk to each other.
i think Judge Judy saw through the defendant and understood how badly the plaintiff got screwed over
Me too
She knows he is shifty
I think she was sympathetic to the plaintiff and how angry she was. She had a right to be mad. I definitely would have been.
She must be sick or something, because she wouldn't allow that to happen. Ever. 🫤
“Ohhhh ba yow” 😂 when she slapped that insurance down lmao 🤣
I’m glad she won, it really looked like she was telling the truth
She was quite vocal. JJ almost threw her out.
I definitely think he scammed her and tried to blame his business partner
I started to think that, too, when he used the insurance as another justification for the car to be repossessed. Then he says he wasn’t put as a lienholder on the insurance when she was going to show proof that she had insurance.
I was also thinking the same thing happened, the defendant is a sleazeball
He probably ate his business partner!!!
I think they were probably 2 scammers and at some point he and his partner were no longer on the same page regarding profits share from their scams.
Yes! Im glad justice was served
JJ has no sympathy for used car salesman, who look, talk, and dress the part.
I am more than happy that the plaintiff won because I totally believe her. It's funny that he said she never came to see him BUT she came in to beat him up. She should sue him for slander
He said both "she didn't have insurance on the car" and "the insurance she gave us said she didn't add us as lien holder." Which is it?
He changed his tune after she offered the proof of insurance.
@@johnsmi213 Not really because the last thing he says before the video cuts out is repeating that "she didn't have insurance on the car."
Defendants old business partner took that money and got fired.
There is no business partner :) That IS his business
I'm so very sorry for anybody doing business with that man.
Man?
He’s not a man, snake, he needs to be taken care of outside of the courts
You people fall for it all the time. There was nothing wrong with this man he was legit. You could just tell from her body language that she was lying. Judge Judy blew this one.
@@lostintime8651 She was just upset that this slimeball screwed her over thats why she was acting exited i would be too, that guy was shady af, why wouldn't he devulge the exact reason his employee was fired? Because he knew the information would negatively impact his case thats why, anyway the judge sniffed out the truth about why the employee was fired and came to the right conclusion in the case. He should have sued his employee not her.
If she was lying she would have made a receipt for $1200@lostintime8651
They Never understand the we are Done part 😂😂😂😂😂
If you pause the video at exactly 2:11 he seems to tell the plaintiff (whose texts are green) that he's "fighting for" his business "with lawyers and the state board" and that what (his former business partner) did was wrong "but right now I can't rectify it"...
When she says she has no car and no money after all the payments she made she asks, "What (am I) supposed to do?"
He replies, "Sue the business for wrongful repossession." 😮
Detective !! ❤️. That's awesome.
Good catch! I am now 100% convinced he is a scammer. I was on the fence till I read the texts.
Why would he tell her to sue his own business?
@Polychrome1201 because he knew his partner was a scammer?
@@Sola_Scriptura_1.618 That's probably why he fire him, sure, but if he wasn't the defendant's employee at the time, it isn't the defendant's responsibility.
"She never came to my place of business." not even a few minutes later: "Your honor, she came to my place of business and assaulted me!" Which is it sir?...Judge Judy knew he was lying from the jump.
Legend has it that the defendant is still talking
u never find a honest secondhand car dealer worldwide
I googled this: A shyster is a person who is dishonest, unethical, or unscrupulous!!! He is a SHYSTER....yikes, watch out for him!!!
That word has been around since 1845 or so.
hes a secondhand car dealer, lol,
that man needs to lose his business license... he's close to being a scammer.
The plaintiff is lucky JJ didn't dismiss her case just for running her mouth at the defendant. She usually hates that kind of behavior. I get that she's annoyed that Tubbo is lying his ass off about one thing or another, but you have to exercise better self-control in a courtroom, even a televised one.
Well he just burned a credible witness that i am sure would've assisted him with the charged against Travis
He's a typical used car salesman
Dishonest and likely been doing this for years
JJ must have been in a great mood because she was just letting her talk lol
Seriously lol
That glass looks like car window glass to me. I don't believe him when he says he has no idea where the glass came from, because he would know if the window was broken.
This case was too much for JJ , she had to get out quickly. 😂
If your defense is she didn't pay you can't just switch and say well maybe she did pay but im quite sure there's other reasons i took the car lol
Defendant is a CON ARTIST . . . .this isn't the only persons he pulled that stunt on.
all second hand car dealers are 110 % dishonest corrupt
Really? If you have info please tell, not that i doubt it but would be nice to hear any other shady dealings he had going on
@MedOKC... Fact! He's able to lie with a straight face, confident that he's believable. But JJ is experienced at seeing through the lies😊
I have a feeling that the partner stole the money 💰 thats why he fired him for some type of theft and did not let him know i would just drop the case if you are going to press charges its going to be hard
He lost this case when he started dancing around questions about Travis
It was at that moment. For real
Bro even if she was delinquent and broke the agreements...YOUR employee broke it first by stealing from her AND you, be a man, leave that woman alone and press charges against that ex-employee...unless youre in on the scan too...
The Plaintiff is doing the most!😂😂😂
So glad she got her money back. She was scammed.
🗣️Cabbage patch fooled me 😂 from the first upload to this one my jaw has definitely dropped and Im still in love with Jj she rules 😊
Same.
Cabbage Patch!!😅😅😅
Rumor is he’s still talking haha
Yes...she won her case! 🎉🎉🎉 And she was well prepared too... Good for her👏👏
So glad she won!!
I’m so happy for her
I’m generally a skeptical person. However , as I watched the full episodes it became clear the defendant was a stereotypical used car salesman.
The defendant came across as sleazy. It makes little sense if he dismissed an employee who received payments from the plaintiff that there is some reason she was "behind" on her payments. Is his argument that defendant was in cahoots with the former employee? He screwed her, so she should sue him instead? He claimed he never spoken to the defendant, but it is clear he had to based on the counter suit. I know he told her, hey, WE didn't receive any payments, so we repossessed. Well, if he didn't care about fraud before, he does now.
I am of the opinion, unless you know what you are doing, never buy from a two bit used car dealer or personal owner.
It was the way she slapped them insurance papers down 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 She definitely watch JJ and knew what to do 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I believe her 100%
I’m glad she won! He looks scandalous
Dude looks like Baby Sinclair from Dinosaurs 😂 “not the momma!”
This plaintiff is a great example of “if you tell the truth, you don’t need a great memory”
I think he's still in the courtroom trying to explain his case 😂😂😂
He looks like a cabbage patch kid. 😊
I'll never figure out why people don't keep their mouth shut when they should 😂😂😂
Good for her !
Legend has it the defendant is still talking about his counterclaim even tho JJ has left the courtroom, all the observers are gone and the producers have turned off all the lights😂
My vehicle was almost wrongfully towed today because the tow driver had the wrong address. I feel like this was meant for me 😂
My good sis was not playing😂😂😂 I’m glad she getting all her coins back
He's still talking like a Parrot 🤣🤣
I hate when they cant shut up, even when i believe their story smdh.
Is this an example of the emotional intelligence they lay claim to?
Cant control yourself in a courtroom while winning smdh
He's a shady business man with a thief in the business stealing a woman's money and repossessing her car. I'm sure he knew everything and is lying about it on the stand, I'm also sure her car was vandalized she could've gotten more if she knew about her car being damaged. Hope his business has a 1 star Yelp review.
She doesn’t say it in this case but I liked in a previous case when JJ called the defendant a Whackadoodle lol 😂
Legends say he still saying she didn’t have insurance on her car 😂
I’m cracking up cause JJ usually doesn’t let them even talk to each other but she ain’t say nothing to this lady probably cause she saw how upset she was 😂😂😅
Plaintiff represented herself correctly. Good for her.
Defendant is a scammer
Of course he is - he's a used car salesman! They have a reputation for a reason!
I’m m glad she won and proved her case well! Btw the defendant looks like Corky!🤣🤣🤣🤣
She almost talked herself out of her case. Glad she got her money back. 😅😅😅😅
Be quiet… you’re winning!!
I kind of know how she feel she was overwhelm by his lying she had every text message every receipt and money order she slapped them papers like down like she was playing cards😂
This guy is the prime example of a sleazy used car salesman.
0:34 cmon keep it real😂
Pillsbury doughboy keeps popping up in my mind 🙈😂
Run my good sis her money back!
boss baby is pissing me off😤🤣
The fact that JJ isn’t shutting someone down for talking out of turn just tells me she believes her lol & I believe her too
This woman was prepared!! So refreshing. Travis stole the money and the defendant knows it.
Ha!!!!!!! The defendant started singing like a bird after JJ ruled in the plaintiff’s favor.
