It's been since the summer of 1997 when I last flew on an Extender coming back from the UAE. I was a crew chief from 1988 until 1997 on aircrafts 860031 and 850029. Seymour Johnson and Travis. I worked on this aircraft as well. Sad to see them retire, but with no parts to support them and their service life at an end, what else can you do? There are a lot of good memories and great places I traveled to via these jets.
