  • Do you know what an aviation fuel filter differential pressure gauge does and what it is for? Do you know why it is so important? Do you know how to check that it is working properly? This animation from the Energy Institute (EI) is intended to help all those involved in aviation fuel handling operations answer these questions and learn when action is necessary during routine fuel transfers.

    Thanks a lot
But I have some questions ... is there is a certain flow rate that must exist to make a filter does his job

Hopefully you were able to find this information already! Your filter vessel has a rated maximum flow rate and fuel flow has to reach at least 50% of that rated flow to achieve proper filtration. Your rated maximum flow rate will be dependent on which filter vessel and filter elements you decide to use.

@TheGreenLemon47 do you know if any videos to get a basic knowledge of Type III, Constant-Pressure Hydrant Fueling System ?

How can you tell if it is the hydrant or the aircraft?

if the DP gauge is on the hydrant or truck then it is the hydrant or truck. There is no DP gauge on the aircraft
