- THE MARY JANE GIRLS COULD'VE DONE BETTER IF ONE OF THE GIRLS DIDN'T TALK SO MUCH. SHE KEPT TELLING EVERYBODY TO SAY "RICK JAMES, RICK JAMES" THAT WAS FINE BUT SHE WENT ON TOO LONG. THEY DID WELL SINGING "IN MY HOUSE"

The Original Members _(in the Middle)_ are still looking Great! The 2 ladies on each end are Not the other 2 Ladies from the Group. This was a really GREAT Performance by all.

This was a fun trip down memory lane but the real gag is the folks recording this don’t realize that’s NOT JoJo on lead vocals. She does a nice job tho. Candy is missing also. It’s good to see Maxi and Cheri keeping the spirit of the Mary Jane Girls alive evening JoJo and Candy don’t want to. Very cleaver getting a sassy black woman with braids to replace JoJo tho.

JoJo Candy and Maxi did reunite in the 1990's. Jo Jo continued to perform after Candy and Maxi left and Rick tried to sue her for using the name. JoJo countersued for non-payment of royalites. Candy perform with Val Young and another female using the name while Cheri and Maxi perform calling themselves The Mary Jane Girls featuring original members Cheri and Maxi. JoJo performs as a solo artist and she also recorded a solo album. The group was honored 2 years ago by the Hal Music Awards but they honored Candy, Val and their hired singer instead of the original members and Yvette Marine

singing to the water sisters background tracks and the lead singer is ok but no where near in the league of original lead singer Jo Jo mcduffie vocals !
