Just some minor corrections, Fami was selected after an exhaustive audition process back in 2022, not 2021. 2021 was when the previous bassist, Miho, left the band and Lovebites went into hiatus immediately after that for just over a year. Also, the back-to-back comeback concerts called "We are the Resurrection" tour was held on 11 & 12 March 2023 - earlier this year - not back in 2021. This video was the opening song of the first night (11 March 2023) of this comeback tour, which was why Asami screamed "we are baaaccckkkk !!!" at the beginning.

For all that we laud praise on the Miyako/Midori twin attack, stand in awe of Haruna's drumming or, in this case, admire the new injection of energy from Fami you sometimes have to just stand back and shake your head in wonder at Asami. She comes sweeping imperiously onto that stage and, with a toss of her skirt, takes complete control. We always mention how tiny Haruna is but Asami is only an inch taller, without her heels on, yet she dominates that stage as if she were twice the size. She's been criticised for her singing style in the past but nobody can any longer deny her commanding presence and charisma.

Yes, these women are beyond belief. Some people say that they are angels who came to planet Earth in order to save metal. I discovered Lovebites a little more than 3 years ago and I’m still in awe. My next recommendations are “Set the world on fire” (thrash) or “Epilogue” (an epic slow rock ballad); all live.
