    om my gosh! thank you so much, you made a pretty detailed video but don't these accommodations require guarantor? from international students perspective...for a person on budget, will private student accommodations be beneficial or halls and student housing comps.?
    you are looking lovely in that top btw :) xoxo

    • @sabrinacheung170
      @sabrinacheung170  4 года назад +2

      It’s okay ! Hope it helped :) and A guarantor is needed whether you are international or not I believe. Private halls are cheaper but houses that you find can also be cheaper but you miss out on the first year experience if that makes sense. But people go for the ones through the uni because they may not be aware of the private ones. Thank you so much ☺️ xxx

    Thanks for the great vid! Very useful since I'm currently choosing uni accommodation for Plymouth for september! I wanted to know for the Old dairy, is it quiet around? I guess as it's close to the city centre, I imagine it would be quite noisy? I like keeping my windows open at night for fresh air at home, but don't want it to be really loud at uni when I'm trying to sleep or study.
    Also, do you know if many med students or people who do longer courses stay there? I would have to be there a week before everyone else and don't want to be the only person there on the week before freshers week if that makes sense.
    Thank you!

    • @sabrinacheung170
      @sabrinacheung170  3 года назад +1

      Glad it can help ☺️ yeah it would occasionally be noisy due to people being drunk but I didn’t find it too bad when I was staying there. I’m not too sure if there are going to be med students but there are different people on different courses that stay at the old dairy so it really depends on who you get on your flat 😅 sorry if that didn’t make sense.

      @@sabrinacheung170 Thanks for the quick reply! That helps! And another quick question if you don't mind aha. How do find the ethnic diversity at Plymouth? I'm Chinese but live in a not very ethnically diverse area at home (I was the only chinese person in my year group lol), I wanted to know as an ethic minority yourself just how diverse it is? Thanks!

    Thanks to the author of the channel for this fascinating video! It is interesting to see how people live in other countries! It is very important to know foreign languages on such trips. I would like to recommend to all travelers a practical guide to learning foreign languages by Yuriy Ivantsiv " Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages". This book contains a lot of useful tips on how to learn a foreign language for tourists, students, entrepreneurs and anyone who needs a foreign language in life. There are a lot of good tips on how to solve problems with the language from beginner to advanced level of language learning. It turns out that the traveler only needs to know a few dialogues and you can easily travel around the world! You don't have to spend a lot of time to fully learn a foreign language, you just need to learn what you can use when you travel. I wish everyone exciting travels!

    Hey! I was just wondering why people book longer contracts. I am looking at booking accommodation with the host and am quite stuck on which contract I should pick... x

    • @sabrinacheung170
      @sabrinacheung170  3 года назад +1

      I believe some people just pick the longer ones either if they have a job or just want to stay longer I suppose. The shorter one tends to be for the uni year (I believe 43 weeks). Hope this helps ☺️ xx

      @@hollieholmes2725 I originally joined trugym as it was the cheapest but wasn't a fan of the equipment etc and then joined thegym which is further out but much better and definitely recommend. The fee was £15.99 which was more expensive but I think was worth it.
