I'd like to order an entire Christmas Clint spinoff series, please.
And oh my god, this game looks awesome by the way. This kind of hidden object game is my jam!
@@brutalmoose It is surprisingly rad for what could've easily been just another holiday cash-in. Neat that it's on Steam now!
It makes me happy to know you guys talk. And also techmoan, good youtubers gotta stick together.
I love you both... Sorry to disturb you
You better play this on stream @brutalmoose
This game seems way too awesome for what it's supposed to be.
Welcome to the hidden object adventure genre! It's actually filled with a lot of great titles! Pretty much everything made by Elephant Games, the studio that made this one, is great. I also recommend Eipix Games, Blue Tea Games, and the more recent APEX Games (they started out as ERS Game Studio, and their earlier games are often a bit meh, but their art style is great).
Good lord, I'm shocked at the development effort here. Weird game, sure, but especially considering the number of games they've churned out I honestly can't even begin to imagine their dev cycle, this game honestly shouldn't be more than just some recycled artwork with different objects to find. Honestly, I've got a lot of respect for these developers, they actually put a lot of fun effort into this!
Elefant Games, the developer, publishes games every two weeks. As far as I know, they only do this type of games and got really good with it.
I'm suprised how well this game sounds and looks.
I fucking love this game. Its sensory overload in a good way.
Lot of Crunch time at BFG. Not a bad place to work but, yeah, crunch time is pretty bad there.
zrobotics the candle got me laughing hard though LOL!
I just have to say, seeing the old LGR intro and music at least once a year is incredibly heartwarming, reminds me of when I discovered you back in 2011. Stay amazing, Clint.
yea i miss the old intro, still love this channel though
The candle looks like it could be Beauty and the Beast 1991 Lumière's cousin, but with many years of crystal meth abuse.
He literally burned his brains out
Looks more like a penis
Hahaha true, he looks like what a anthro candle should look like. A melted and ugly face xD
To me it looks like Wild Woody's long lost cousin.
Yes, the talking pencil from that Sega CD game.
Don't you mean WIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLD WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODDDDDDDYYYYYYYYYYY?
"I had difficulty running it on windows 10" did you try turning off your pc's clock?
Lucem Contritum wait what hahaha
LOL also close everything with task manager and disable WIndows effects.
It's actually a fix for playing call of Cthulhu: dark corners, otherwise the games save points won't work
Better delete system 32.

The phrase "carefully constructed clumps of clutter" is pleasing to my ears.
One thing that I found after buying several bundles of hidden objects, is that the Hidden Object games end up being more bizarre or with better stories and characters than one may think. They have evolved to become the new Adventure point and click game, with some obtuse (with some being logical) puzzles. Some of them have surprised me with how fun they are.
I've played a ton of HOGs and they are usually a blast. You can buy them for pennies and get about 4-5 hrs of entertainment apiece. I love how colorful they are and how slick the gameplay typically is.
Well, point and click genre was dead as disco for a while, and this seems the only model that survived to be commercially viable. There was an attempt to resurrect adventure genre by Telltale Games using the episodic model and licensed titles, but they filed for bankruptcy, so... yeah.
Are there any good free hidden object games on Play store? I have tried a couple but they were too easy and boring. But I remember loving puzzle games when I was a kid. That was on PC though.
Christmas Clint is my favorite Clint.
Same! I remember when he threw a bunch of ornaments on him lol.
OH YES! The rat king kidnapped the danish princess, Mary! We need her to, uh, look nice? And, uh, do princess things? Okay, so the danish royalty don't do much these days, but kidnapping is still illegal.
Christmas Clint needs his own character lore made.
I never, in a million years, thought I'd see you review a game from Big Fish Games! Most of the hidden objects games are this style and they are my guilty pleasure! I play them a lot when I need to calm down from a panic attack. Off the Record: The Final Interview is my favorite. Such crazy story concepts!
My grandma and I would play them together all the time!
EERIE AMBIANCE.
Wow, I love this. It's so creepy.
Desperate to watch you and Clint do a Let’s Play of this!!
The ambiance is straight up Lynchian.
So a $10 shovelware title is more competently put together than Fallout76? We live in interesting times.
>tfw shovelware has more polish and effort put into it than AAA games
That's sort of it, but also, this is like, the 5th remaster of the game?
That probably helped
@@romajimamulo they at least bothered to fix it
Hey someone form the future, 76 is fixed I belive? Idk just know some people have been playing it more often and enjoying it
I like how on the calendar it says "clone warning"
Big Fish was sort of like a Steam of its time. Many of the games on it were submitted to them and they published virtually everything. Stuff that ended up in boxes typically were gems like this, though. While it is no longer its heyday the fact that it caters to a less 15 year old boy style demographic has kept them going pretty strong.
Big Fish are pretty huge actually.
I'm a Big Fish member, and get tons of decent hidden object games from them.
I trust them far more than Steam and Origin that's for damn sure!
Eerie ambience™
...but nobody came.
@@jerradn Insert "I came" meme here.
It makes everything better!
But the ghost girl is there when Clint says it. Is it in game or photoshopped?
One of the main reasons i didn't liked too much Big Fish games as a kid is because a LOT of their point-n-click games have this creepy vibe, i remember downloading a game that had a happy family in the cover and then when i played the game they were MURDERED and it scared the shit outta me.
ahah, noooo!
... Which one was it?
@@romajimamulo I wish i could remember the name
=O....!
They made Alien Shooter (a top-down shooter) a game I really liked as a child
Your description of app ads was spot on. I can't go 5 minutes without being disappointed yet another slot game advertisement.
I've only ever played one hidden object game from Big Fish. Mystery Legends: The Phantom of the Opera. I remember really liking the artwork.
The 'Clone warning' on the calendar cracked me up! I love the crazy amount of detail you put in your videos. You are a class of your own!
Many of the Big Fish published Click-and-Find games are of this quality, being more Point-and-Click adventures than standard Click-and-Find games. I played them all the time at my grandma's house as a kid, they're tons of fun and very atmospheric. Highly recommend people to take a look at some of them, you're bound to find a hidden gem.
Are we all going to ignore the fact that the candle stick looks like a discount version of Lumiere from Beauty and the Beast?
Probably a dollar store rip off direct to video one with CGI
I love the Christmas Stories games!! I've been playing their yearly releases for a few years now. They just released their newest one the other day!! I'm so glad you did a review on this!! And yeah, Big Fish Games is a pretty well developed company. My Grandma has purchased (digitally) over 500 of their games, I kid you not, and her and her husband have played them together daily for the past like 10 years. She's the one that got me into the genre.
Awesome! Kudos to your grandmother!!! I used to play them a lot with my grandmother back in the day,and quite honestly, I think this is a hugely underrated genre!
That’s incredibly adorable. At the end of the day, even if it’s a game that a usual “gamer” wouldn’t bat an eye at, it’s really cool to hear about people really getting into video games, especially with loved ones. Give your grandparents an extra big hug for me! ^_^
seems like a grandma thing to do
To be fair, The Nutcracker was always a messed up story, especially for Christmastime.
I love that you covered this game and that you actually liked it! There are a number of sequels to this one. I think the Tin Soldier one is my favorite.
Where can we get a PIZZA CALENDAR?
I found it at one of those weird mall calendar kiosks
LGR welp, I know what I might be buying.
I smell new LGR merch... Except maybe with sandwiches.
@@ActualCharky thats genius!
Wouldn't it be better to have a complete calendar, not just a piece of a calendar?
Love that dark ambiant soundscape, almost reminds me of the Call of Cthulhu 2005 game. I must say its the 1st time in 20 years im excited for a point and click game.
Holy crap, Boards of Canada - Tomorrow's Harvest on vinyl? Excellent taste, Clint.
Right!
That's cool to know that Clint listens to BoC! I would've missed it if you haven't pointed it out. Another great YT voice, Ahoy, likes them as well.
WarthogDoctor *Yeah, that’s right.
Didn't notice that, good eye. BoC for life!
*Orange intensifies*
At 6:02 the game instantly transforms into LEGENDS OF THE HIDDEN TEMPLE!
Olmec isn't nearly that terrifying
These kinds of games, especially Mystery Case Files: Ravenhearst and its sequels, had a lot of charm and were very good at building atmosphere
0:11 Nightmares for life!
Meeting in the wilds of RUclips! Love your Dune videos.
Nightmare fuel. As watching this at night.
Tell me about it. It's almost as bad as that time the Christmas Clone ambushed and assaulted him with holiday decorations.
This is borderline experimental.
The big stagant-humanity ending threat that Leto II was trying to evade with the Golden Path wasn't aliens or natural phenomena. It was KRISSMASSS Clone.
1:25 You know there's serious camera gear going on when such a close up take is in such perfect focus as to sharply showing the individual ink spots in an offset printing.
I kind of love those point and click hidden object adventure games. Big Fish have some really excellent ones, and they usually have a fun plot and cool voice acting and animations! I find them fun to pass the time when you don't want anything too difficult.
You know, I think the creepiness aspect of this game can be attributed and perhaps explained by a line from the refrain of the Christmas song 'It's the most wonderful time of the year': "There'll be scary ghost stories'.
Christmas has always had a spooky edge. It was quiet traditional to tell Ghost stories during Christmas. It was also seen as a time of Miracles and strange happenings.
I vote we bring back the tradition of telling ghost stories on Christmas, it's yet another tradition from the Victorian era that I'm quite fond of.
I think Christmas shopping and Black Friday stories can give those ghost stories a run for their money.
How creepy is the empty Santa factory in The Polar Express???
Sabbath Bloody Sabbath was not was I was expecting to hear in an LGR vid l 😂😂.
I LOOOVE hidden objects and Big Fish Games. So many good atmosphere moments ir Grim Tales series and even more. Runs on shitty laptops too. I have so much experience with hidden object games that none of it weirds me out, yet I see many people who only now have lost their innocence.
My dad and I played through that entire series! I love Hidden Object Games!
I love Grim Tales. Mystery Case Files too.
Dire Grove being my favourite. What a classic.
Oh my looord, Big Fish Games was my childhood! I'd scroll through their website for ages and found a lot of fun stuff (given, it was generally in the other categories rather than hidden object, but there were some hidden object games I enjoyed too). Now I wanna go back and see if that stuff's still around...
the candle reminded me of Earthworm Jim at first.
A fellow white-headed yellow-beak bearer. Hello. That's all.
Earthworm Jim after a 2 week methamphetamine binge
It looks like a novelty dildo.
GROOVY!
Oh, Sabbath Bloody Sabbth! What a fantastic record.
Holy smokes, that evil door was straight out of Fable! I love it. I could listen to many, many more of your game reviews, great stuff.
I don't know what surprises me more: that a Christmas themed game could be so dark or that apparently Churchill Downs at one point owned a game development company. I learn something new with every video on this channel.
I’m always happy for Christmas lazy game reviews. Always get me in the mood.
Big Fish Games was my shit back in the day.
Going home from elementary, playing point and click and bejeweld-type games... those were the times.
Man, is always an experience to watch your christmas videos; it feels like a comfy and warm talk between friends. You and your videos are so great!
The standing up bit, as if coming out of the grave, at the beginning of the video is a chef's kiss.
Oh Clint, you and your camera tricks
Those are some gorgeous vinyls on your wall.
Love this opening, seeing Christmas Clint awaken from his stasis always cracks me up.
So funny with that Kratos cut-in. I cosplay as him and was just watching a God of War video on here just before this (among watching some of your other holiday specials on this snow day).
I could never have a pizza calendar, I would be triggered everytime i saw it.... to go buy pizza and eat it.
Glad this turned out to be a game and not just a money grab!
Weird how Big Fish's catalog turns out to me more real games as opposed to Steam's catalog...
I love this Christmas Clone. If you ever want to lend him out he can come Christmas shopping with me.
and here i thought it was going to be some low effort game
Oh man Big Fish Games. I haven't heard of them since my auntie was obsessed with Big Kahuna Reef.
Roberto XS it reminds me of when HP Games was a thing
@@OutOfTheShadows1 they still are, though now they have section dedicated to Steam (At least on my mobile device- they have a mobile version now)
ahniandfriends123 Thats interesting
My wife bought a lot of Big Fish Games and we had no internet for 2 days, so she went crazy on those... While I was programming code, altering reality on a game called Else Heart Break
My favorit BigFish games are: Chocolatier, Fairy Godmother, Virtual villagers, Magic Life, Fix-it-up kate's adventure, Build-a-lot, Plant tycoon, Blood ties, Fabulous finds, Trade mania.
They are all different genres of games.
this candle will give me nightmares for years
Yknow, I love your channel. It always makes my day. I hope your december vids are up to the usual quality~
I like your calendar
I remember a prominent German RUclipsr play a log of those Big Fish hidden object games and there were always really nice to experience so I’m glad they finally get talked about to some capacity.
1:20 OMG, Hide the Pain Harold had a baby with Lumiere, the candlestick from Beauty and the Beast! xD
When you said Rat King, I was thinking of the Ninja Turtles
Speaking of Ninja Turtles, I'm almost a million percent certain that's Cam Clarke voicing the Camdle.
I've been a member of Big Fish since 2010. They have some of the best time killing and additive games ever collected. Most of my games I got free because I kept accumulating punches in my punch card,
I love your Christmas persona, this time every year this makes me soo happy. It's never truly December until I hear that goofy "Christmas!"
I second the notion of a Christmas Clint spinoff series. Also the nostalgic opening sequence. The only thing that could make this more nostalgic would be your old plaid comfy chair.
That candle reminded me of the pencil from Wild Woody for some reason.
The candle looks like Wild Woody.
Glad you enjoyed this Clint, the Christmas Stories games are well produced, festive, and fun. And despite the occasional weirdness, good to play along with your kids. I'd recommend trying the Dire Grove games (though those aren't quite so kid friendly...). They aren't Christmas related, but are suitably wintry. A lot of HOGs are by the numbers, but a few really are worth the time.
Clint, that sound at 01:20 (ish) is bloody hilarious. Pretty sure that's the offspring of an unlikely mating between Dr. Eggman/Robotnik and Mr Hankey the Christmas turd.
Also, we all love the clone, humour and content in general. Long may it last.
The thumbnail intrigued me.
I want this soundtrack for my d&d game.
What an absolutely amazing start to Christmas 2018 on LGR. This was fantastic. I'd love to see you do a full playthrough of one of these games. Keep up the great work, Clint.
Some of the hidden objects games have exceptional art - this one included - great start to your Christmas 2018 content. Thanks LGR :)
The opening is like early years LGR. I love it.
"Who's ready to get their nuts cracked? *CRUNCH"
this gon b good
I will never tire of your Christmas persona, his dopey smile always gets me in the holiday spirit :)
I really like this genre, so it's really make me happy to see you review it.
This video needs a warning for those that are allergic to nut puns.
I wasn't bready for this.
Sabbath Bloody Sabbath? - - your 'cred just went up several points in my book!
Definitely
Man I am so happy this channel got an install base of 1 million subscribers. I am so proud of you Clint!
Marry Christmas Clint. I wanted to say Thank You for your videos. You helped make a unexpected hospital stay that much more bearable. Again Thank You, and Marry Christmas!
The Candlestick sounds like BenDeLaCreme.
Oh I love that new old intro!
Quoting a really annoying mouse: "IT CRIHMAAAAAS!".
Glad to see Christmas Clint, a solid holiday tradition.
I love Christmas Clint. It finally feels festive as soon as your December videos come out :)
Clint I have enjoyed your videos now for...lord, years and years...and knowing that you're a classic Black Sabbath fan just raises my appreciation all the more!
Sabbath Bloody Sabbath!
Ah yes, Big Fish games. As a kid, my mother had a subscription to Big Fish so we would get demos of various games each month. That is when my mother fell absolutely in love with the hidden object puzzle genre. I remember helping her find objects in levels while also solving puzzles together. And of course I also played many of the up and coming new games from Big Fish like Insaniaquarium Deluxe, Feeding Frenzy 2, Super Granny, and Professor Fizzle just to name a few.
Thank you for your videos and advice on Good Will hunting. I went to a goodwill yesterday and found a original release of Sim City complete in box and a GPU in the board games section. Happy Holidays LGR!
The guy in the Santa Hat got the same mood as me.
Opening was epic lol
I was expecting this to be little more than festive-themed shovelware, but it looks really good!
That thumbnail is a face of nightmares and so is the game, just what I needed in my life
Yes! I want that calender lol
The voice acting is pretty good not bad at all
The best part about December is Christmas Lazy Game Reviews. It's a holiday tradition at this point.
This "okay that was odd" to "wow, this is really a horror game" progression reminds me of Shivers a bit.
Thank you for the Christmas! This was so Christmas.
Is that a DOOM LP of music from the game? I never even knew that existed.
This is a gift indeed lol Love your stuff man, seeing Christmas Clint drop by every year makes me smile no idea why XD
that's better. oddly enough as I age,i find myself watching old Christmas youtube videos during the holidays in order the get the nostalgic feels.
Ooo classic LGR intro
