I'm happy the hobbit found himself some new friends and went out adventuring again!
❤️
Very cool episode! Can’t wait to see the fate of the mules. Was neat to see how that random encounter changed the story and caused one of those risk/reward decisions.
For sure, I’m definitely enjoying and embracing the random.
These are always an immediate watch for me. Thanks for keeping them going.
Awesome, Thank You!
I'm hoping that seeing the Pegasus will bring the hobbits some peace. I'm glad you took the chance. Awesome episode and I'm very excited to see what happens next
Good point, I think it would.
No doubt this land is ruled by the King of Werewolves or something 😂 the amount of lycanthropes so far is crazy
I know! So many in the wilds, but none so far in a dungeon.
Wereboars are the worst
This was a good one. Good luck to the mules!
Thanks!
That pegasus encounter was a great counterpoint to "encounters shouldn't be random because they should serve the story". It was a random encounter that became a highlight of this emergent story. In fact, this whole series has been a great illustration of emergent storytelling.
Thank You! Yes, I love a good (and evil) random encounter
That really seemed like a small army of goblins in the swamp, I wonder if there's infighting between the tribes/clans? The pegasi in the swamp are kind of a funny mental image, not really the expected habitat, but I like that you run a kind of streamlined interaction system when characters encounter lawful entities.
It does strike me: The party is getting flown to the top of the tower, but in a way that means they've got no retreat if something goes wrong. Are the pegasi going to hang out for a while, in case the party needs to beat feet? Or will this just be a motivator to the party to get back to ground level?
Great video, love this series!!
There is definitely something brewing with the goblins, we I’ll have to see where that goes. The Pegasi will not hang out as this is not their home, rather they were flying past. It should be interesting.
Love seeing the dice get on board with the adventure.
Yes!
Wow, they got lucky.
Yes indeed!
Great video!
Thank You!
The party abandoning their mules to the mercy of a wandering monster table in favor of a short ride on a cool new mount is an extremely D&D thing to do.
Heck yea!
Wait, Lawful was a tongue in ODnD? Did all the aligment had their own language?
Yes!
