This is my son and my beautiful daughter- in- law. I am so proud of both of them and their gorgeous home. Thank you for all your kind words, and to the person who asked if Taylor is high... that is just how she is. A very happy, giggly, warm and loving soul.
What part of the South are they from? Those aren't Colorado accents. :)

I love how Matheu and Taylor have put in so much thought for their animal friends and the way they put it into reality.
They sold me with the little kitty catwalk and kitty room! So cute and loved they took them into consideration! I feel like I would do something similar for my cats! So lovely! 🫶🏼😻
She said "have the sun kiss your face in the morning" I absolutely love love that! She should paint a picture with that written on it! These 2 are absolutely adorable and seem like they're the best friends to have life long. God bless them always sweet sweet couple.

Beautifully, designed and decorated, without any clutter! Brilliant use of a loft...just starting with an out of the way place for a litterbox! They must love being so high up and I'd love to see their patio walk update! (By the way, your enlarged wedding photograph is stunning...)

I like how that used this space and personalized it with personal photos, etc. I know it's trendy to have artwork only, but there's something special about having personal photos on the walls of a home.
Also, I couldn't agree more about the vinyl window decals. The one they chose with the magnolia pattern is so pretty. I use a vinyl decal on a few of my windows where my neighbors are able to see in so I can open my curtains and let in the light while still maintaining privacy, but it's also really pretty. As a cat owner, I love the cat walk!!! Cats love to roam.

I have seen those colorful window films. They are cool. I like the separate living room. The bedroom ceiling I couldn’t do but it does have windows, which is good. Also, I am surprised they put it in a tight fitting park area and not on some land. But they are young and will probably get a little piece of land later. Well done you two. Cute place….

I am currently building my own Tiny Home.
For just myself and 2 lil dogs.
But it's only 8×6 of living space. Built onto an old StarCraft pop up tent trailer. That I dismantled by myself.

I know that I could 100% live in a tiny house, I'm single, no children and never really planned on having children (39yrsold) I don't even have pets, although I wouldn't mind a smaller dog just to keep me company. I don't hord things either, I live a fairly basic life style. Right now I live in an apartment by myself, I use one of the bedrooms as a gaming area and work office, the other as a bedroom and I almost am never in my living room unless I'm watching a movie or sports. I like to cook a little bit but never anything crazy, so a simple set up for that would even be fine. I could definitely drop down right now to a 1-bedroom and just use the living room for the office/gaming area and have thought of that already. But I'm looking for my own piece of land, ideally sort of away from the hustle of the city, but not so far off grid that I can't make an easy quick trip to the grocery store or have things delivered to me. My major concerns are I live in Michigan, the winters can get quite brutal and the summers can be quite hot and humid. So it slightly concerns me how well these are insulated and how easy it is to manage the temps during those extreme months. My thought process is that well it's a tiny space, it can't be that difficult to heat or cool but I have no idea really. Or how much doing something like this would cost vs other options. For me it's more about the price than the idea of tiny living.

You have to be careful with plants around pets. Some can be very toxic. Sometimes, it's just the safest option for your fur babies.

Genuinely curious, why did you have the livingroom on the other side of the bathroom vs the other way around? (I can see getting stuck in the livingroom if someone has to go potty! Ha :) ) Overall, super cute house, you guys did a good job :)

Very quirky and homely. Don't like the bathroom off the living room. I would want the toilet hidden in it's own little room some how. That's just my preference.

Beautiful house but as others have stated, the poor turtle looks miserable all alone in that small tank. Perhaps you should consider upgrading to something larger for it or re-home him to a more practical living situation.
The turtle is like 20 years old.... he's fine lol
