@@SeizeJapanese For example 学生 、英語 、映画 、芸者。 When I listen to their pronunciation, it sounds like "i" sound is removed and replaced with another "e". "ei" sound to me like "ē" . Is it correct?

@@danaabulaban822 You have good ears. Many native speakers especially youngers pronounce "ei "as "eh". It doesn't sound beautiful
but It's OK.
