I just picked up a “practically new” and “lightly used” g15 5525 with ryzen 5 6600h with the 3050, 8gb ram and so far it’s been great! Definitely upgrading the ram and ssd, but for $300 I couldn’t say no
you can get an 86Wh replacement battery that is meant for the higher tier ones as an upgrade, I would assume the big battery with lower specs should get insane battery life
I would expect 4 hours of internet/work use. With 90 watts going to the CPU the performance is insane, but not the battery life.

Personally, I would much rather use a desktop for VR. More power, more consistent framerates. Absolute must-haves for a healthy VR experience.

I have the Grey slightly higher tier of this laptop with a ryzen 7 5800H, RTX 3060 and 165hz screen. It's a great laptop with great battery life.
The 3060 version also has a mux switch so u can boost the performance by 10-15% if u turn Optimus off.

Really? That's quite expensive! I just bought this laptop yesterday for $300 for open box model and even then i was slightly hesitate as it is a entry lever laptop
