There’s records Nas have done that are some of the most creative records I’ve ever heard like I Gave You Power for example. Both are incredible but from a Lyrical standpoint, Catalog standpoint Nas edges out Jay-Z to me. Nastradamus, Street’s Disciple & Nasir are probably the only records from his discography I don’t like. Out of Jay’s 13 albums I only like about half: Reasonable Doubt, The Black Album, The Blueprint, American Gangster, Vol. 2: Hard Knock Life & 4:44. The other records are hit or miss.

Nas the most timeless mc and he actually love hip hop. Peep the grandmaster awards. Y’all ain’t up on it though.

@@kindell1 Guess you couldn't answer that question. I can definitely tell you when Nas made his commercial attempts. Jay speaks to his struggle which was like a lot of young men. Nas speaks on the struggle in his own way. Neither were ever commercial artist. Don't let being a Nas fan blind you .
