I am Ugandan Canadian and I will admit that fufu really holds you up. I hadn't had it in a while and last time I was in Houston, I had gone without food all day - just super hectic to eat - anyway I grabbed some from this Nigerian joint and man it really hit the spot - I went all day next day without food and I was still firing on all cylinders lol. Only thing i wish they didn't do is mix meat with fish, I like meat alone and fish alone; Nigerian restaurants give me a hard time when i ask them to sort it out. I have watched Jabril before a year or so back, I am glad this was recommended in my feed. I would like to connect with you guys for networking.

Did you know that a lot of African cultural foods have roots in America? Casava is indigenous to America. So is corn and a lot of dishes used cornmeal before columbus. Something to think about

There will be more dislikes here than others. People just hate seeing Africa in a positive light. It genuinely pisses lots of people off that Africans are not starving and flies around their head

@Travel 4k why do you people from other countries in the African continent have to involve yourselves in anything that's about Nigeria/Nigerians???!. you people seriously need to LEAVE US BE, and go and promote your own countries. just because Nigeria is located on the African doesn't mean what we've got going on has anything to do with you People from other countries in the continent!!!. I see this as just Nigeria and NOT the entire damn continent!!!

Don't be stupid. Africa is a CONTINENT FULL OF 55 VARIEGATED COUNTRIES, NOT ONE GIANT BIG SAFARI. And Nigerians do not need to BEG ANY TOURIST TO VISIT OUR NATION. If they want to come & spend their money, FINE. If they don't, then they can venture somewhere else, it's NOT BY FIRE & BY FORCE. Sheesh!

This video was a disapointment..Reason: You focused 100% on talking about partying. What would have got a high rating from me is...less you talking and more seeing the city or country. The city should be the star, not you. What is the city like? What is it like walking around nigeria. Are there any beaches?..health clubs? What about shopping? How does the city look? But thanx for the little that you did.

Because there isn't much to see. TayoAina does a better job. Lagos doesn't have a lot of infrastructure. The elites made sure of that. Lagos has CHARACTER. More character than any of the new cities in the middle east and with the exception of Bangkok, Hong Kong, Macau, and Tokyo has more character than the rest of the large asian cities. Lagos failed to build the infrastructure which makes travel inside the city frustrating, and a hassle. When the infrastructure is built, and poverty is reduced then you'll see real change. That must come from a grassroots movement to root out and destroy the corrupt elements that have crippled that country.

East Africa is far more technologically developed than other parts of Africa! Our Maasai warriors, whom you just disparage, are the Nilots, the first men that walked the earth...respect that. The wildlife we boast was not killed off like most countries did in a pressed rush to make the country look European. Please ignore the trolls above.
It’s best to visit Nigeria if you know someone (preferably a Nigerian) who lives there or will be visiting at the same time. Nigeria does not really have what you would call the best “tourist infrastructure” and so it is best that you know someone who shares similar interests to shepherd you around (and show you what exists behind the mainstream media facade). Hope you get to go, it’s well worth it!

@@therealist2866 Most foreigners think Nigeria begins and ends with Lagos...Lagos though the commercial and economic centre of the country is just one of the 36 states....Nigeria never sold the country as a tourist destination despite its soft power as an entertainment/cultural hub - (its music, movies and arts are creating waves worldwide) cos its visionless leaders only focused on its oil wealth and ignored other sources of revenue.
However, some states such as Cross River which shares border with Cameroun and is one of the most beautiful places in the country, has a strong tourist industry which it has been promoting for decades eg. the Obudu Cattle Ranch, Tinapa and others.
Nigeria has lots of tourists attractions, which if well marketed will make lots of money for the country even more than its mineral wealth
