It is interesting to watch these food squabbles, which seem to be relatively restrained and brief when compared to the ferocious battles over mating rites.
Man, 1080p, full screen, and I forgot that I was in RUclips. Your video's just too good to compare to the majority YT bear videos. Top quality. Thank you for posting this! ~ Rafael
Very exciting gorgeoous video! I enjoyed hearing their growls and watching those bears devour fish after deftly catching them. One of the bears on the left made a huge messy "poo" while fighting! How amazing! Just great, thank you so much!
Thank you so much for your efforts, @bradjosephs. It's a very brutal world these grizzlies live in; no cute, loveable teddy bears here. This video clearly illustrates their survival during spring and summer months.
Excellent footage! Thank You. They are nothing but huge fur covered muscle tanks. I always feel horribly sad when I put myself in the shoes of those unfortunate humans that have been killed by bears. Omg. I just cannot imagine!
Absolutely amazing video, Brad! I'll bet your heart was just about to pound out of your chest while you were getting this footage. I know mine would have been. I'm sure you have much better cameras than I have, though. But still.....the action was intense. Great stuff. I loved every minute of it, my fellow outdoorsman.

How many viewers have the time to sit through forced slow motion replays or replays at all ? How many are able to play back if you choose to and the speed at which it plays? I don't have the time for it so if someone wants to tell me how the video turns out that would be great. My guess is he does it with every clip otherwise it would be a three minute video.
Why do some videos insist on showing each action scene twice ? This is really annoying, dont they realize that there is an OPTIONAL rewind control available to us if we want to replay ?
Thats the shit im talking about! Where did you film this? you a pro! did you ever think of sending this to Discovery or AP? (although they would probably cut it up and make it crap...) still, epic. Got any other animals fights?
@Darklarik yeah a i have some more, check out my channel. thanks for the compliments. I agree with you fully about the editing of those clips on AP. "wid all his streeath!!!" ha ha ha. yup. I filmed this on the coast of Katmai national park in alaska where I am a bear viewing guide on vessel based expeditions. ] thanks man, Brad
Even though they are powerful, best be smart and give these great creatures a wide berth. I'm half bear. I'm half kodak bear myself, I understand them by reading their body language and poster,
I can't believe no one has mentioned how underweight the bears are at 1:20. Maybe they are just coming out of hibernation? Even so, they seem really thin. I'd expect them to be bulking up pretty quick with all that salmon.
1:55 homeboy just trying to fish while the other two just scraping
yep
They dont look that big in these videos, but if you come close in real life you might be very surpriced of how huge these animals really are.
They look damn huge to me!
Plenty big and plenty intimidating
Been watching these...thinking of Treadwells last moment.
Yeah I knew treadwell. He went out badly.
@@bradjosephs Bad scene for sure. I live here. To know the nature of these wild beast, not to be pets....
Battle of the giants! Awesome footage.
Best Grizzly vid on youtube, for me, the best i ve ever seen. Great work
watching this makes me feel weak and insignificant.... and also how completely fucked I would be in the event of a grizzly attack...
Why? They all survived ...
@@ronbeam6893 and so did we,we can exterminate them at a whim.
5:16 that bear literally scared the shit out of him😂😂
Don't mess with the momma grizzly

When it is slowed down you take another look as to what’s really happening. Good idea!
Top video mate,well done.
Excellent video, best I've seen on youtube. Thank you for sharing this! Keep up the good work.
The speed and agility of these huge bears is amazing😳
Man, 1080p, full screen, and I forgot that I was in RUclips.

You would think there’s 1 fish in the whole river. 😂
Hey where you live ?
Kamil Starosielski Western Australia! 🇦🇺🇦🇺
Excellent video and footage. The salmon at 5.45 isn't looking too happy.
I never look at bears without being awe struck. Your photography is also awesome. And the color saturated still shots are totally gorgeous. Thank you
wow thanks man!!
Thank you for sending me this, it's gorgeous. I've been looking everywhere for a video that demonstrates grizzlies in action.
I think its awesome how they are having fun in the water
My favorite part was the cubs fighting in slow-mo at 10:20 lol
Can you not do a slow-mo replay after every single clip? We saw it the first time in full speed just fine...
i won't ever do it again! Im sorry
4:00 there’s a guy walk-in around in the background like it’s another day at the park!?
Great Video Brad! Have to love Alaska! You can still get Kings and rainbows with the fly rod!
5:56: this bear cheats, hes flying….
Great shots Brad...Thank you! :)
I really don't like the slowmotions in this video.
He needed to get it to the 10 minute mark some how.
Amen... slow mo completely ruins the video.
Yeah slow motion killed it. Disliked and stopped watching. It's like the uploader thinks we don't know how to adjust the speed from the options.

Great stuff. Thanks for sharing!
What type of equipment are you using for the video?

Great video thank you for sharing
@bradjosephs good job on getting on natgeo man!
I love the gulls in videos like these... just chilling, waiting for food ahaha
These are not grizzlies but Coastal brown bears. Grizzlies are found in central Canada and some norther states of USA like Montana or Idaho
i call them coastal grizzlies. brown bears, same thing, same species.
Please ,if you don't know what you are talking about, please don't talk.ADF&G.look it up.so simple.
And the male was like you better not be filming this😂😅
Excellent footage! Thank You. They are nothing but huge fur covered muscle tanks. I always feel horribly sad when I put myself in the shoes of those unfortunate humans that have been killed by bears. Omg. I just cannot imagine!
Two bears simultaneously surviving a bear attack

You can't have my cornbread
All i keep seeing is people dressed up as bears, especially slowed down lmfao🤣🤣🤣
no, it is the coast of katmai, southwest of mcneil
At the 9:07 mark there's a bear jumping off a rock and caught a fish. I saw that in another video. Is this the same guy? Great video whoever made it.
Thought they couldn't see good? There fishing skills are awesome. Looks like they see good to me. Especially the bear around 9:35.
Nice! This was great! Thanks!
Great video! Thanks!

the bear was literally scared shitless at the 5:07 mark
Came to the comments for this comment and I wasn’t disappointed lmao thanks
This is so cool I have a lot of bears were I live it is a little bit scary.
the energy they use to fight (weighing 500-600 kilo's) is a lot more than the energy they would get from those little fish
Great pictures!!!
Is the legendary bear van in any of these fights?
The look in the bears eyes 20 seconds into the video is scary AF
Thanks a lot.truly amazing,wish I was there
Enjoyed it very much!!!
Set you asa faster for stop action with no blur. But you know that....
Who the hell recorded me fighting a pussy bear? it is my daily routine....
Nice video.
AGAIN IN SLOW MOTION:
Niiiiccee.....viiiidddddeeeeeeoooo.
Why do some videos insist on showing each action scene twice ? This is really annoying, dont they realize that there is an OPTIONAL rewind control available to us if we want to replay ?
no, i didn't realize it. some folks like slow motion. sorry
Thats the shit im talking about! Where did you film this? you a pro! did you ever think of sending this to Discovery or AP? (although they would probably cut it up and make it crap...) still, epic. Got any other animals fights?
There so fast for there size my goodness
This never gets old.
Why are light brown bears stronger than the dark ones?
What happened to the first scene? How come you keep slow mowing all the boring scenes?
Your slow motions replays are kind of annoying
I thought brown bears were grizzlies that lived on Kodiak island and great to immense size because of all the food and salmon
All Grizzlies are brown bears, but not all brown bears are grizzlies.
Grizzlies and Kodiak bears are different subspecies of the brown bear species
check the dude walking in the background at 3:50
It's a sasquatch
Probably about to shit himself lmao..
it is famous photographer paul Souders!
Oh, ok. That's not that friendly.. Especially after a long day out (in the cold/wet). Despite that, did you like the trip?
Look at the female running away like nope 😂
They always bit ears,is that hurtful?
THE CUBS r SO CUTE WHEN LITTLE = NEVER THINK THEY WOULD GROW UP SO huge!
@Darklarik yeah a i have some more, check out my channel. thanks for the compliments. I agree with you fully about the editing of those clips on AP.

keagan burk ...
keagan burk no you're not
You’re a fucking moron who thinks he’s a bear. Lmao. Wow
@ 5:15.. The smaller one was so scared.. He 💩💩💩 his pants! Lol
Where did you stay?
Didn't Bears invent wrestling? Isn't that how people learned it?
Yeah
That's how I'm learning it
Wonderful video.
They are fierce hunters of salmon
Katmai National Park is the same place where Timothy Treadwell died.
@Darklarik some will be on caughtintheact for natgeo wild soon.
AMAZING FISHERMEN!
how do people get close and film these exotic animals without the animal being curious about you and getting at the point of being attacked?
I can't believe no one has mentioned how underweight the bears are at 1:20. Maybe they are just coming out of hibernation? Even so, they seem really thin. I'd expect them to be bulking up pretty quick with all that salmon.
is this McNeil river???
katmai coast!
@Darklarik she is shedding her winter coat, it was late july.
who made this video?Tim Treadwell?
Bear taking a crap at 5:14 😂😂😂
They fighting for who gets to have the river to themselves also
Luke, don't u even dare shoot these awesome grizzly bears!!! If u do I'll be on the hunt
henry | Why the hell are you replying to a 4 year old comment?!
thats his own business @@ahort
bill keane | I guess you’re right. **shrug**
Hermosos son los osos y muy poderosos y temibles .
WTF is that guy doing in the background, all orange?
do you have a time frame ?
Osos gigantes majestuosos muy poderosos gran video
El mal llamado rey de las bestias el león NO tiene ninguna posibilidad contra estos osos
Too bad we can't teach them to play football!
What ever to survive. That's what animals do...they click into survival mode.
I am so glad the humans weren't "endangered".
Good grief the pond is big enough for every body
9:59 “Aww cute cu...” o_O
Feather weight ensues,
Mothers like thats it,ur gonna need to be like that
At 11 minutes those 2 are just sparring,. Like their version of training. Polar Bears do this regularly.
They make fishing look so easy, who need a fishing pole!
Awesome bears!
