Your videos are very helpful and vivid for revision👍👍
I thank you with my whole heart you are the only account on RUclips so far since I was like nine that helped me understand Mars which was a truly difficult subject for me in every simple possible way.
thanks for the video I think your the only person who has made a video on how to
write a fraction as a recurring decimal that makes cense!!!
This video is absolutely amazing. But I’m my opinion, dividing the denominator by the numerator, gives you the recurring decimal quicker. For example, if you wanted to convert 3/15, divide 3 by the 15. This method will help with harder multiplication.
Completely true, however this video shows you how to do it if it is asked in a non-calculator paper.
@@poppyruben6523 may I ask, what year are you in?
@@Makkapakka983 year 11 :). And you?
@@poppyruben6523 year 9. I just want to mention something. As you are year 11, the only videos you should really be watching to revise on are gcse videos. This video specifically is for people just learning to convert fractions to recurring decimals. I’m not sure about you but I learned this for the first time in year 8. I’m not trying to be rude or anything so I apologise if I’m coming across like that. Just wanted to point something out 👌
@@Makkapakka983they can watch whatever video they want to?
Amazing tricks, can you please give the logics behind these?
Hi, I know I'm very late but I would recommend the Maths Genie video on Converting Recurring Decimals to Fractions. It takes a bit of knowledge in algebra to understand it, but once you do, you'll recognise that we're just doing the reverse of that in this video :)
Thanks sir for telling this trick free of cost
thats all fine and really well explained. But I have 1 question. what happens if your denominator isn't a multiple of 99 like it is in MOST CASES lol! what do you do then?
Not sure u could divide it if it gives u 9, 99 …. But I’m also having trouble with that it’s been 3 months did u find an answer?
@@idkmuch7749 What about a fraction like 11/14 though? How would that work?
@@panickedtoad hmm u can multiply it with 7.07142857143 but im not sure it will be easy for 11 to multiply with it. u can make is recurring but i guess it will be hard
@@idkmuch7749 Trying to use a calculator would be the next best thing ig but don't they round so it's difficult to see what a recurring fraction is? Dam I hate math.
@@panickedtoad lmao u can do the 56 and then the dot above to make it recurring u don’t round off recurring decimals if they ask for it but if they don’t ask for the literal recurring digit, then yes u should round off and use a calculator
Your video is always helpful
Thanks really much. You are a super human being you are the best of the best. thanks again and over again.
Cool! What app do you use to make those animations?

You are the best teacher ever in science and math, thanks always mr
Yes agree 👍💯
Thank you so much man, i was struggling with this topic for sooo long i was tryna to understand but i thought i would never until i found ur videos
u are a hero.
how would i do 5/6 to recurring decimal
can you make about trigonometry function or solution of triangle......if you cant make it,its okay .....btw your vid are so easily understandable thanks

Thank you so much ! :)
I was using this for my maths homework, but just a question: how do you know what number to times the numerator and denominator by? Thanks
x it by whatever it takes to get to 99, eg 1/3 would multiply it by 33 because 3 (denominator) x 33 = 99
Very very nice explanation with a simple trick........ 🥳🥳🥰
thank youuu!!! this was so helpful xx
I got a question y does the denominator has to be 99 I am confused
Thank you so much Sir
Thank You so much xx
How do you express 17/66 as a recurring decimal? 66 can be multiplied by 1.5 to give you 99,buy when you multiply 17 by 1.5,you don't get a whole number. @COGNITO math pls reply this comment. Thks
Really helpful videos , keep up the good work and don't foget about God , God bless
OMG you are making math videos too now that's amazing

3:02 If I type 7/99 it has the same answer on the calculator as 07/99 . I only seem to get 0.7 recurring if I do 7/9
Thx it helped me
2/3 why do u have to make the denominator 9 and how???
Times 2 and three by three to get 6/9
It's a rule. The demoninator must only contain 9/9s. so for 2/3 , to make to 9 the denominator you have to times the denominator (which is 3) by 3 to give us 9. Which means you have to the same for the numerator (which is 2). So 2 times 3 equals 6. Which gives an answer of 6/9. To convert this into a decimal watch from 3:34
It was very well explained, but how to convert fractions with a whole number to recurring decimals
cool u give easy method for these problems
What about the fractions having 990 in denomination??
im still so confused 💀
So basically if u have something that doesn’t have 9 or 99 or 999 and etc. Bellow u have to change it in to 9 depending of how much digits there are if u had 3 digits u change it into 999 and the number on the top will be multiplied by 3 if there is 999 on the bottom and 2 digits on the top u change it into 0.0???? Depends on the number if they are all the same amount of digits you can put 0.????? Depends on the number on top
Which bit do u not understand
doesn't work with 5/12
Thank you sir,
how to find the recurrence for 1/6
Thank you
