1800 goldwing in scotland got a puncture, luckily right near a lay bye , no repair kit but had a compressor as we were camping, poured some water on the tyre found the little ba***rd hole. found a bristle from a roadsweeper left in the lay bye plugged the hole with that and a small tube of super glue ,friday till sunday back to manchester still did not go down, result, lol , sometimes you have to improvise. 😀
picked up a tipper truck in wales, had to take it to the north east, was on the a19 when the temp went up oh no, got a leak, pulled into a lay bye got nothing to fix the leak, and had 13 miles to go,had a little think and it was time to improvise, lol, i always had a flask of coffee with me a nice large 1 1/2 litres so that went in, there was a few little pools of rain water in the lay bye from earlier that day got what i could and put that in, made it to the drop off point, no prob,s the best bit was looking back at the truck in the yard from a distance of say about 20 feet, all you could see under the engine was 6 ft wide 4 ft high froth, it looked like a giant latte 🤣🤣🤣 sometimes you have to improvise,😉 @@Lumalee1
