Hey guys. Some people are commenting that this song not only has a big influence, but could also be a copy of Deftones' Tempest. There are sound similarities, but I see Sleepyhead more as a tribute, an homage, than plagiarism. Anyway, congratulations on the content.
Agreed. I love Deftones and def hear the similarity but idk. I like it a lot. I hear the tempest in it, but it doesn't detract from how much I still dig it.
the starting always gives me Chase Atlantic vibes for some reason. The chorus gives me a lot of animation ideas, THE PROBLEM is I don't know how to animate so it makes me kinda annoyed and overwhelmed, NOT BC OF THE SONG but bc of my lack of animation skills (I should've continued animating instead of quitting :') )
Do you guys know Karnivool from Australia? Ian Kenny is such an amazing vocalist. Its like Australian tool. Check out Themata, Shutterspeed, all i know or simple boy 👌🏻
Can you recommend similar songs and artists? It's a style I like very much and a beautiful musical tone. Please I'm looking for similar artist and song recommendations. Can you write a comment?
The neighbourhood really reminds me of Jutes they have similar voices. Same kinda vibes with the instruments too, you might like them! Anything from their older stuff, Wiped out album ‘Ferrari’ and ‘RIP to my youth’ and the I love you album ‘Alleyways’ is a good song from that 🤩
@@BSSBpodcast We have never heard a live version of this song so we won't know, Michael Barnes actually sounds almost as good as his recordings in Red's songs.
@@DerzDoez-hm4xp You're having a completely different conversation dude. I just don't think they sound alike, Song or Singer. You can keep having your debate with yourself.
this song is insane...gave me chills

100% but didn't every other artist copy from being inspired from other artists?..
agree with you, I believe this is the bass line from tempest but I have heard some of their other songs and seems Deftones are more of an influence
Vertigo is another good one by him! Also has a live acoustic version of vertigo too that I’ve been obsessed with
Good review - I am loving the style! 100% agree it has a deftones vibe which is truly amazing.
Fantastic band!! Singer is incredible❤️❤️ Love their music!
He has the emotion of Chester with a twist of chino which you can feel the vibe from him in his words this song hits deep for me🤘🙌🔥💖
Vertigo is another great one.!!!!!
He did a live version
Sex and Palo Santo from Jutes is also an amazing song, find it a little bit heavier and it makes it extra good
Give Theraflu a listen too! Heavily underrated song ❣️🙏
@@paimaddz so true !

Deftones, HUM, Team Sleep, Vexus, Reveille. Maybe even Sleep Token is similar-ish... Anyone else got some suggestions?
Thrice, Tool, Nine Inch Nails

Sounds a lot like the song lost by red
uhh, disagree. Two drastically different songs. Dude in Red sounds like Fred Durst.
@@BSSBpodcast Not really, he does not, both can sing as well.
@@DerzDoez-hm4xp Ok... Agree to disagree I guess.
