GHOST is sooooo good! Also i think i failed my piss test watching your video. Ghost is the best thing to happen to rock in the last 20 years.

Something ive realized about Ghost is Tobias is a music genius and can pull up all kinds of music references for his music, and it is his music, he writes everything himself. Tobias is very conservative with his guitar solos, it fits the song and is never more than it needs. And believe it or not, they use a kettle drum in many of their songs. A full blown symphony style kettle drum.

The phrase you're looking for is "theater metal"- they're tons of fun but don't take themselves too seriously.

Well done, Ghost is Scooby Doo rock. And they do play off of the Catholic look, the live shows are incredible and the band is not serious at all, it a dance party sing a long. Mary on a Cross got popular on TikTok and they have a live performance video that will give you a glimpse into a Ghost concert. Also, we Ghouls, not Ghosties lol! Thanks guys!

Nice reaction. Ghost loves to mine 70's/80's hard rock/metal - Black Sabbath, Blue Oyster Cult, Mercyful Fate, etc.. and blend it with top-notch songwriting and production. They are amazing live. Yes, they are basically trolling the Catholic church. Some people call them "Scooby Doo chase music", but I see nothing wrong with that.. Check out Cirice, Rats, or Faith next.

Try *Cirice* by Ghost. It won a Grammy. They vary from pop/rock to doom satanic metal, but always with catchy hooks. I call them ABBA Sabbath.

Speaking of ABBA, the piano they use in Spillways is the piano ABBA used to record in studio. They found it under a cloth tarp in the back section of the studio gathering dust. Ironic/Iconic.

It reminds me of late 80's Alice Cooper material , songs like Poison etc.

For some heavier Ghost, I would recommend "Faith - From a Pale Tour Named Death" and probably "Cirice". If you want something a little older a little more doom rock, "Mummy Dust" and "Year Zero" are pretty good. Also, though it's from the some EP as "Square Hammer", "Zenith" is a good one.

For something a wee bit stronger by Ghost, try "Faith"(from a Pale Tour Named Death) 🔥🤘😜🔥

Take a listen to Draped in Cerecloth by Repugnant, a band he fronted before and a bit into the beginning of ghost. Heavy!

I can recommend a couple of really good songs from Ghost. Faith is a little heavier song that may suit your style.
Cirice will be a very amusing video for you and a banger to song (Grammy winner 2016).
A few other great songs are, Rats, Spillways and Year Zero.
