  • Just to clarify, before fixing the issue, my A/C compressor was NOT spinning until I used the magnet on the flow sensor. I am not sure how many are affected by this issue, I have seen others use this as well, just haven't seen a video on the V6 model so thought I'd make one. I hope this video helps save you all some money, as well as keeps you cool this summer. Drive safe!
    You can find similar magnets here:

    Do this at your own risk! This video is to share what worked for me!

    Thank you so much! I was desperate for a solution when I tried it, and it worked really well. Literally saved me from $2250 at the repair shop for a new compressor. Forever grateful!

      My cuestión is fans working before you put the magnet?

      @@user-cg4hp4hy9x That's a good question. I've been researching this for a week and seems that if the condenser fans aren't kicking on but the AC button is on on the climate control and the blower fan is running inside the dash that there is an electrical fault, either the flow sensor or the AC amplifier circuit board which is to the right of the gas pedal under the panel.

    Damn bro same issue here! I just brought some of those little magnet and it works!!! Do you mind if I ask how do you mount those magnets on to the flow sensor? I brought some but I am wondering how to mount those magnets on the flow sensor so it won't come off. Thank you so much!! You literally made my day!!

      hey man, thanks for the kind words! Honestly, I just played around until the magnet got stuck on the sensor and then backed it in with something non-magnetic, I think it was a pen. But since then it has not moved an inch and I have had no problems!

    • @savagedeep7
      @savagedeep7  Год назад

      @@breathingnature7473 To get it on the sensor itself, use a longer wrench with the magnet on the open end so you can kind of scrape the magnet on the sensor. It takes some finagling and patience, and I would recommend doing it on a cold engine so you don't burn your hand, but take your time and you should be able to get it! Good luck!

      @@savagedeep7Just mounted them on successfully. You just helped me prevent being ripped off $2000 from local mechanics who said that the only way to fix it is to change the entire compressor. Thank you so much!

    Or just change the part. About $30. Flow valves common too hardest part is getting snap ring off and back on

    If you're seeing this, I DO NOT RECOMMEND you trying it. I bought a neodymium magnet and used it just as this video detailed and now my alternator is condemned along with my car battery.
    Perhaps something to do with the strong magnetic field and it's interference with the electronic components. DO NOT TRY WHAT THIS GUY RECOMMENDS, THERE’S A HIGH CHANCE YOU’LL REGRET IT.

      I'm sorry this happened to you. This worked for me for 2+ years and is still working as my friend now has the car and he updates me.
      My guess is you may have had another issue already with your alternator, Toyota and lexus cars having alternator issues is nothing new. But every case will be different, I just wanted to share what worked for me and hope it helped somebody in need 👍

      That's impossible. You already had issues you were unaware of. It is just not mechanically possible for this magnet to mess up a alternator and battery.
