Your tree is so gorgeous. Have you ever used this in a mantel garland? Also, do you use shatterproof only or do you mix in any glass ornaments? Last question: Do you hot glue the ornament tops on, or do they hold as they are without securing the tops?

I’m so sorry it took so long for me to check back on these comments. Definitely use shatterproof…I learned the hard way. lol I don’t use any hot glue…just the wire looped around it.

I would suggest doing 1 long piece rather than doing it in sections and I use lots of wire to secure it. Also, I would start at the bottom and go up. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching!

Thank you JL, I will try that. I think it may be best to secure it first and add them as I the wire around the post so they happily wrap around the post and not around the other balls.
