- A ride-review of the Eskuta SX250 Mk3 Licence Free "moped"

Green-Mopeds.com is a London based electric-only moped and motorcycle dealer and importer. We started in 2017 by signing a dealership with Torrot (torrot.com/) after initially seeing an electric moped for rent on holiday in Portugal.
Since then we looked for more brands and became the UK Importer for ECCity Motorcycles from France (www.eccity-motocycles.com/) and then Super Soco (supersoco.co.uk/) from China.
In early 2018 we were then approached by Askoll (www.askollelectric.com/) to be their first London dealer and soon followed by Lifan who were lauching their first moped the E3 (www.lifanmotos.net/product/ddc....
Later in 2019 we also signed up with SurRon with their hugely popular and lightweight LBX Lightbee (www.sur-ron.com)
Mid 2019, we signed up to be the first dealer for Niu (www.niu.com) and sold the first 9 of their new NGT model when it was launched at the end of 2019.
In early 2020 the UK Importer for Torrot moved on to other things and we became their importer to support existing customers of the Muvi range.
Later in 2020 after a request from a customer, we signed up with Artisan (artisanscooters.com/) to sell not only their brand but also Horwin (www.horwinglobal.com/) and Kollter (www.kollter.com/).
Recently we have added ThElMoCo (thelmoco.com) who supply LVENG bikes (www.lvnengebike.com) and now SunRa (www.sunraev.com) and hence offering the broadest range of any electric motorcycle dealer in the UK.
We have been approached by many manufacturers to become their importers which we will consider when the time is right.

In the 80's did commute of 9.8 miles in 25 mins on my bike, avg 20mph, that a London commute of Edgware to Euston. Now days have a NIU 114km electric scooter, comes with permanent grin.

Well replied to my previous comment I have one now in blue had it for awhile and I’m loving it. I’ve had two accidents so far both times. I slipped over sideways once on mod which was my own fault for going to fast when I knew there was something that could cause an accident. The second time was ice really love it though it’s great I’ve done over 100 miles now so far. Can’t get enough of it gets me to and from work which is about a mile away and in good weather, I go to scenic way when I’m not rushing back quickly I know they just travel around getting further away from home. Anybody looking to get one should definitely do so 😀😊😀🙃😀☺️

Is the standard back box large enough to contain a 16 inch laptop or would I be better getting a box like on a D version, so I can add more stuff such as laptop, books, etc or is there a "middle ground" size box between the standard box and the Delivery version available ?
No it isn't unfortunately. We can supply other boxes rather than the Pizza style such as SHAD
I just inquired one of these bikes I've always like doing projects and taking this one on will be a challenge I'm going to put a 6,5 motor on this gas-powered while trying to maintain the electric side of it any comments will be greatly appreciated
Can you do 4 or 5 miles without paddling and it won't stop?? Cause I'm thinking to buy this thing as I'm just eat rider and what about uphills is it easy to go or need to do struggle

@@HeadstoneRestorer so you have the pedals that can be assisted by the throttle but obviously the motor is only 1/3 of 1 HP so that would ultimately decide what can be done

Its not powerful enough and legally no.
It is illegal, but yes you can. There's a video on youtube explaining how to unrestrict it (but definitely don't do that as it is illegal) (but if you did it would go up to 25mph) (but definitely don't do it)

They are IP66 rated

I'd be really interested to know how these do on hills? I'm 85KG and would need it to get me up, or at least assist me up a decent gradient hill...
Hi. Im 85kg. It all depends on the hills right? Remember that 250w is 1/3 of 1 hp
What about pillion passengers ? Nice video and very interesting look into the law’s and the dues and don’ts on the law.

pretty good, there's videos testing it on hills
What is it like going up hills
It can be pedalled and have the motor assist you but with all bikes, it depends on the hill
Can you put a throttle on this bike
You would have to investigate that yourself. It has to he pedalled to make it legal and has the power button

As you can pedal, then the mileage could be based on that
35miles max based on 9 stone rider weight , flat ish roads and warm weather . I have one rode over 1,000 miles since I had it 18 months ago
I'm desperately awaiting my delivery any time with in the next few weeks in acid yellow with the extra top box . I cannot wait for its arrival 🛵🛵🛵🛵
