    Every review I've seen on this one so far, have mentioned the front rack not following the handlebars. But if you actually use it to lug stuff about, you know you dont want a sack of potatoes or a shopping bag wobbling about with your steering. Same with your light if the front rack is loaded, you want the beam to light up in the general direction you're actually going. Not where your bars are wobbling. Now if you're just riding for speed, fun or to look cool, it makes sense. But as a actual transport/utility bike you want that stability.

    • @baconbuttties
      @baconbuttties  10 месяцев назад +1

      The rack does work well and the front light is not a problem. I do try and mention everything, otherwise I will have comments saying why didn't you mention the rack.

    • @Caprifool
      @Caprifool 7 месяцев назад +1

      @@baconbuttties yes, I was drawing the attention to something often said about the bike. And basically any transport bike tbh that has the rack and light fixed to the frame. But I doubt that they actually lug stuff around daily or even weekly.

    I just ordered one 30/11/23 just waiting for a delivery date I’m looking forward to getting out on it. With respect to this reviewer and all the others who have reviewed this cargo bike , designed for carrying stuff , there is no mention how this bike rides fully laden with shopping going down or up hill and how the range is effected .
    After all, If you was after a E mountain bike , you might expect to see how it jumps and performs off road .

    just noticed this, an older post. I, 've owned one for 2 years now. For starters 4 and a half minutes on the light! really. Just buy an after-market rechargeable. As for road legal, you going up that hill on the throttle would of had it confiscated and crushed if caught. The legal throttle speed is about 3.5 mph. If you start messing with the throttle speeds you can get done with 6 points on your driving license, if you have one. you need to point this out, fella. My long-term review is that its an excellent all-rounder. It's sturdy an reliable. The overall full battery mileage, is taken with a pinch of salt. I've never done what it says on the tin. The most I've had is about 24 miles. It's not watertight btw. Stay out of the , you will ruin the motor and controller.

If Engwe are asking, I bought the L20 for my wife after watching this review, as her old Halfords shopping bike has done many many miles and lacked braking power using rim blocks from day one, it's been like Trigger's broom in that respect and with the recent cold weather, the motor has been cutting out. Time for a new one and the L20 was clearly the best choice, in Snow White as per your review. She will love the racks, mudguards and design touches throughout. It's from The UK Engwe Website...Link is in the description 👍👍

      I look at engwe UK and it's a good offer but don't the delivery waiting time, need to do some homework on this before I buy again, bit apprehensive after loosing £954 to a company called AOVO-STORE and that was using PayPal as well, going to do some more digging first. Many thanks my friend for your help and videos, I will let you know what I end up doing. 👍

    is the ENGWE M20 Ebike (750w) legal in UK because it sells on the website

      Its legal to sell, you could sell a 10,000 watt ebike... it's just not legal to ride in public roads

      @@baconbuttties I'm sure they will😊 I love your channel it's full of that unique but hard to define quality of honesty charm 🫡
      I am most interested in this bike.
      The L20 was always the one I was looking to buy and now it has a torque sensor it's a done deal, but most of all I am interested in the boost feature.
      I am 72 and have knees to match, so pushing off, especially on hills is a no-no, and I don't mind the reduced projected distance loss, it's a good trade off for me I appreciate the front luggage rack as I intend to go day camping in my steed and my trusty rucksack will fit very nicely there. I love it how you manage to manage to travel to America for your on road throttle testing, but the weather over there must be very disappointing for the locals 🤪💯🤣

    Great review... Is the front rack perfectly aligned with the headtube, as I've read about some of them NOT being?
    It's a great pity they chose to use cheap, corrodible & heavy steel for the mudguards, plus the front & rear racks. Very odd given that aluminium alloy is usually the preferred material for racks & plastic for the mudguards with all the advantages that confers...so purely a cost decision.

    • @baconbuttties
      @baconbuttties  9 месяцев назад +2

      The rack was straight. People saying it's not perfectly aligned might of not put it on straight as you do need to line it up when do up the bolts.

      @@baconbuttties That's good...looks like it might be worth a punt as they say, despite the real risk of aftersales/warranty/lack of parts issues later.
      Like yourself, I always like to check out metals with a small powerful neodymium magnet given the amount of fraud out there. Back in 21 I purchased several meters of what was supposed to be thick gauge oxygen free copper cable for my hi-fi system from eb@y & found out sometime later...with the magnet WHY the cable sounded harsh...it was magnetic & probably steel multi-strand wire plated with copper!
      Also, I purchased a "Trinx" folding bike (not ebike)...again from eb@y described as steel on the frame label, but was found to be non magnetic & probably an aluminium alloy...so that was quickly moved on, as it was quite light weight & very bendy.

      Tyre noise and the front camera mount on the handlebars. The lever you use to do up front camera mount jiggles about.

      People panic if you have 1500wat or 2000wat if you have a limerta it's two blue wires if you connect up the bike does 18mph that makes it Street lagal. As long I have that connected the police can't do nothing that's for on the road if road disconnect blue wire is but on the road with wire disconnect from then they might give warning or take bike depending on age and driving licence in intilted to use 50cc scooter with out license 50cc is 2.600 wats
