- Motor Trend’s Jonny Lieberman joins Gooding & Company’s David Gooding to experience one of the more covetous cars being auctioned off during the 2017 Pebble Beach Car Week, a 1965 Ferrari 275. Expected to sell for $2,000,000 to $2,400,000, this Ferrari came from the factory with several competition features and has several wins to its name. Gooding and Lieberman explore the Pacific Coast Highway around Malibu, allowing the red Ferrari’s 3.3-liter V-12 to not only breathe but also unleash all 280 of its horsepower. Experience what it’s like to drive a seven-figure machine and learn the history of a legendary prancing horse.

It drove more miles in this video than the owners will. Nice piece of art.
Nice, another Italian classic!
Coffee?
Yes your modern car can hit faster speeds and corner faster, but these old cars just have character that cannot be matched. Would rather have this than any modern Ferrari honestly
Wow you gyus are original, teach me
ChaosphereIX old cars are also a lot more fun to drive. Modern cars feel numb.
Lieberman cleaned up a little for this one.
D'ELEGANCE!!!
I was thinking the same, lol.
Hmmmm. This really is one of the most beautiful cars ever made!
Doug. The kind of guy to point out all the quirks and features of some guys Italian wet dream
Christopher Ovrebo wrong channel lol
Christopher Ovrebo im Italian and my wet dreams are about pasta
Lmao
Three million dollars and it doesn't even come with gps?! Watch me compare it to me range rover because why the fuck not.
Christopher Ovrebo , oops , wrong channel
I was lucky enough once a fair while ago, to have a ride in a 275 GTB/C, I'll never forget the noise it made, being as there was no insulation at the bulkhead haha. truly one of the best experiences of my life to date.
Classic Ferrari's are fantastic. Living breathing beauty!
Beautiful car.
true beauty in automotive form.
Amazing experience. Looks good
There are no cars like this any more! Now cars are made not because the passion of building a masterpiece, but just because the bigger profits!
3:28 Those tires look exactly like BF Goodrich all terrain truck tires.
Legendary !!
so you ARE driving in malibu! (just read description while watching video) Great place to cruise around in, and beautiful car :)
Man, I'd love to go there some year.
The problem for me with owning something like this(not that I could afford it) would be me being afraid to drive it. This car is more like fine art than a car, I'd drive it once or twice and spend the rest of the time yelling at my kids to stay away from the Ferrari.
Not that you could afford it?
😂
Good for you. Never dump so much money 💵 in a car. Nonsense. Buy some farmlands. Than you own a piece of the planet. Nonsense to buy cars or even art for that huge amount of money
Daaaaamn, she's magnificent!!!!
*LET'S MANSCAPE AND TUCK OUR SHIRTS IN FELLAS, IT'S PEBBLE WEEK!!!*
Had a chance to buy one of these for $!0,000 in 1975....not the competition version.....but the "low rent" standard version ;-) .
the lucky days of the pre internet age where you could find gems in the rough and not have someone yell HEY LOOK AT THIS!!!!
Sadly people who buy these classics probably never won't drive them. They'll be bought to be kept in a garage for them to gain value and to be resold at a greater cost. It's like expensive art, most people who buy these don't really understand what they're buying.
I love it
A red dildo inserton?
The Jay Z Ferrari.
Can't wait for best drivers car
Peder Hansen you , I like you lol
That roll bar really looked like a leather box.
why on earth did you guys overlay with euro dance music whilst talking about the sound of the V12???
If there is a fire in my house, other than the wife, kids (and a few family photos) my Ducatis are all I'd want to save, something about Italian hardware just makes it so desirable.
and yet, the Ducati probably started the fire in the first place...... lol
Gorgeous car. Simply immaculate. How much is it insured for?
It’s not a noise, it’s a sound. More like music
wow wow wow
why sell such a great car
LIke that FIAT 500 at 2:35
Purchased for $ 10,000 at one time. Wow!
Ok... Just 2,499,900 more and i can buy this.
I wish someone would just be like "fuck it" buy the car & resto-mod it. Add a few inches of lift, off-road tires, 4x4 trans.
If it was a survivor I could see two mill, bit a restored car?? No way. You could have an insane amount of fun with that same money buy purchasing bikes, planes, boats, and cars.
Can we get a follow up video on this car? Really curious on how much it will sell for
Just saw 2 in Monterey. There was a 250gt, the estimate wa $10m
لو في قنة عربيه زيكم ولله فله
"At it's best" is actually a terrible typing error. Please correct that asap
Beautiful car , but the plates are not matching. Those are Swiss plates painted to look like Italian plates.
A d v e r t I s e m e n t
Nice video of a gorgeous car ... but please, stop calling the engine sound of a Ferrari V-12 "noise." It is not "noise." It's a sound. A distinctive sound. A pleasing sound. Never a "noise."
DO A MATCH OF BUGATTI VISION VS LAMBORGHINI AVENTADOR
PLEASE
If in the future we can get some form of hydrogen infrastructure going, like for fuel cell vehicles, why couldn't Ferrari build V12s that could burn the stuff? Maybe that sweet sound doesn't have to die. Maybe, there could be a post-electrification renaissance for IC engines that emit only water. It might not be as efficient as pure electric, but hydrogen combustion could be the defining character of future exotics.

The title should be 'at its best', not 'at it is best'
Modern speed candle therapy student identify conduct love consumption assist
its, not it's
You should put a Novitec exhaust
No seat belts. Really. For this speed??
Too bad the guy who is going to buy this isn't going to drive it at all
Aren't they decreasing the value every mile they drive?
nope. cars like this doesn't depreciate like normal cars.
Spektrik sure the miles are countered by the rarity and classicness of the car, but it still does affect the price, right? God forbid something happens on the drive.
+Pretzel Stick, no, the VIN is all that matters on these cars. It could literally be crashed into a ball of twisted metal and they would reconstruct it. Mr. Bean's McLaren F1 had a crap ton of miles on it, several crashes and still sold for $12 million. Cars like this are in a whole different league.
The most important thing for classic cars is originality / factory stock (engine, body, interior) and rarity. Old cars engine are easy to maintain (as long as you can get the original parts), so a fair amount of miles didn't bother the collectors...
It's pretty irrelevant really. You need to realize that the folks who own these cars literally spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to restore these cars to perfect (concours) specification, even higher than they were originally delivered. This includes rebuilding the engine, gearbox, tires, brakes and repainting it after scraping the old paint down to bare metal. Nut and bolt.
I have 5 dollars
where's the passenger side, side mirror?
Sports and race cars of that era didn't have a passenger side mirror because it wasn't mandatory. Also they said that you didn't need it when you're racing so you might as well save the weight and enhance the aerodynamics.
Is the '444' having some special meanings, or the seller just wants to make sure it's not going to some rich Chinese kid. 😁
Can it do burnouts though?
Is this the car Ferris Bueler wrecked?
No that was an MGB dressed up as a ferrari, a ferrari that belonged to James Cobern, that is now in the hands of that ex top gear presenter who took over for clarkson and the boys.
Here
no seatbelts!!!!
Just two dildos.
All that car needs is a 2JZ swap.
It's a race car all I want to know is it's lateral g is suspension set up and 0-60 i got nothing...

Fire your Electronic Music Guy...we don't need that terrible music over you talking or over the Ferrari Engine... thank you 0:56
