Jeep Leads Police on Chase Into Neighborhood

- Police in Los Angeles were in pursuit of a driver after the Jeep he was driving was suspected to be stolen. Police try to stop the driver, but the Jeep cuts in between two patrol cars and takes off. There are some obstacles in which he driver seems to zig-zag around. He then hits a mail truck. The Jeep is eventually cornered and the driver is taken into custody.
Can't believe he made a clean exit out of that alley.
For real it could all ended before it begun if they just fully blocked that alley way with their cruiser from the geckco
I was kind of wondering myself on why did they leave that gigantic gap for him to easily escape ☹️

I have come to see alot of situations like this. I think police enjoy the chaos and don't stop them even though they easily could many times.
If I was a policeman, I'd have not blocked him either. He crashes my SUV, and then I gotta do ALL this paperwork to get it restored. We will catch up to him, no worries, he can go run into a random truck instead.

Why so so many of highlighted police chases happen in L.A. I mean I can think of couple reasons like NY relies more on public transportation so everyone there doing their nonsense in subway but when last time Miami, Tampa, hell Atlanta featured a lot of car chases of someone feed or on news.maybe it’s a algorithm thing L.A. it’s like the thing to do. If a local there had insight I’d lie to know or maybe for years you tube wants me to have this believe

Police could have stopped the jeep when it was in the alley, but the cop allow an opening for it to escape which is a questionable decision. I see other chase videos and it appears that the cop allows them to escape so can have more chase. it is a cat-and-mouse situation. More excitement?
