Jeremy mentioned that the E button in standard mode only works if you have more than 6 digits. You can change that in document settings by changing "Float 6" to a different number. If you make it "Float 3", anything more than 3 digits can be converted with the E0 method.
Was testing factorials and Nspire threw out the longest number i've ever seen... and not in scient. notation 😂 your video showed me I could just add 10^0 at the end of the result to get the nice compact form. thank you!! (also, your video showed me I can now set up documents to do scientific notation! I had no idea)
Thank you for showing me how to write in scientific notation on the TI-nspire. But if TI wants you to spend so much on the CX I or II (with or without CAS), don't you think they ought to know what CX stands for in the first place, especially if they care so much? Nobody in Dallas could tell me. Do you or any of your viewers know?
Hello Jeremy! First of all, sorry for the rookie question. I bought this calculator for a basic mechanical class I am taking and have a question. Whenever I have a simple do it yourself in your head division problem it will give me an answer in scientific notation and I need regular format. EX.. .093 ÷ 1000? How do I get this calculator to only give me answers in standard format with no scientific notation.
One of the only videos that actually shows how to do this. Thank you!

Excellent post. You're right.
Hi Jeremy, please keep making TI-Inspire how to videos! Your methods are clear and I think you would gain quite a following. Cheers.
Thank you
Merci! From France
