Neither of my teachers know to use this calculator! I have even been told to sell it and buy the casio, but I still hope you know how to use it
I'm graduating with a minor in Mathematics (major Biochem so also math heavy) after using my Ti-84 my dad got me off of Ebay in 10th grade for $20 with holes poked in it, I have to bang it on the desk to wake it up sometimes, and it says "school property." I love that calculator but it is not working anymore. I bought myself this one as a gift for my last math class: chaotic dynamical systems. But I can't adjust to the new calculator! I also know that this will be able to help me specifically in this class but idk how.
Quick question. Why is it you can use CAS on the SAT but on the ACT it's a prohibited feature. In my mind I figured the SAT is much harder and therefore it would be more understandable to limit the CAS program to ACT and not just the SAT as well?
Look. I appreciate the video and jokes on me for watching all of it but this could have been summarized down pretty quickly. Still I appreciate your work. Thanks
That's a good question. Depends if you need to solve non linear equations with the calculator and if you can use the CAS capabilities next year. I would ask the people you know that did that subject or that are doing algebra in the Jr year. If you can use next year the CAS, and the price difference isn't big, I'd go for the CAS

Great video, thnx for sharing ! I have a question tho - if you have a lot of trigono questions and you have to convert degree to radian or radian to degree immediately, is change of document setting the only method?
+김근영 thanks for the feedback! No, of course it's not the only method! That's just for how you want the result to appear by default. If you check the built-in functions, there are conversion function for a lot of units! For more detail or questions you also send me a message in my Facebook page(link in the description). In March 2018 - If you buy the cx cas handheld, do you also get the software (free) to run on your PC or at least a code to download and use it (and it's not some trial version)? Can you get the teacher's edition as well as the student's version? Does your handheld have to be plugged into the PC to run the software on the PC? Or do you have to go some route of say, dumping the rom and finding some emulator which you don't know if you can trust?
That's a lot of questions! Thank you! When you buy, it comes with a license for the student software, full version, not the trial, but not the teacher version. The software works independently from the handheld, so no worries there. Anything else just ask. Hope that helps
I have the TI-nspire cx. I am trying to do definite intergrals but it keeps giving me "error: to few arguments" message. Do know how to make the input stay as scientific notation? For example, when you entered 5.37E6, the input (not the answer) is changed to 537000. I want it to stay ad 5.37E6.
+mike diehl hello! Thanks for the question! I believe I showed that when I go through the definitions. It has an option in notation to show scientific notation
Changing the to scientific notation only changes the answer format. for example, if I type "1E4 + 1E4 ", the display reads 10000 + 10000 and the answer is 2E4. I want the 1E4's to stay the same, not to change to 10000.
