This interview to me is evidence that the most successful people in the world are clear thinkers and great communicators. I also loved his story of how tennis shaped him (can relate as a tennis player myself).

Stop telling yourself that the only reason you are not successful is that you were not born in a wealthy family and start putting in the work!
Great Interview, learned a lot. Can you do more of these types of interviews with other private equity technology/software firms like francisco, vista, symphony...
Orlando Bravo has a very interesting story and absolutely knows the field. His success speaks volumes. Especial how he got there. Love to see his interviews and the amount of info he shares.
This is an awesome and insightful interview. Please have more of these interesting people. Also appreciate the interviewer for letting the guest speaker speak!
He adds negative value to companies, uses debt to buy great companies then guts them via outsourcing all R&D, I following historic entrepreneurs like Kazuo Inamori who founded Kyocera in Japan and was CEO of Japanese airlines, he was also a Shinto Priest. He said everything he did was to add benefit to the world to also refine his own virtues and soul he focused on adding value, innovation and quality to other's lives Bravo who's methods I have studied to is does the opposite, he is coming from the lose/won perspective that to earn money he has to undermine the quality of other's lives, Anaplan and many other companies he bought with debt, have lost their innovative edges and employees wages and benefits are flatlined, fires many. This is not a business model I follow or am inspired by. Servant Leadership like Inamori and 1000's of others do is the one I respect.
Very well designed Interview, that working for home has ruined customer service, we humans have to be competitive and need a challenge and when, cant see, feel or touch it, these people have become so fkn laxed its pathetic, they need an outlet to get out of the house....

This Orlando Bravo is a successful and fascinating business man, but all of these softball questions made this interview more like a public relations piece. This is the same reason why so many autobiography business books are worthless since the author just wants to promote themselves as being a great guy. The interviewer should have researched specific deals, both successful and unsuccessful, this guy has done. Nothing was learned from this interview.

That only happens when you are lucky with your parents and upbringing.

Mr Bravo technology changing faster than climate.Hence innovation is important for any software company otherwise they would lose their ground.
Good interview Erik. Orlando is awesome
Orlando's biggest advantage over the other Silicon Valley venture capitalists is that he believes in fundamentals. That's what wins in the long run.

Sounds like an infomercial to find ideal companies to investment in.
What is the goal of the software companies ( univorn) to go public with SPAC !?
Internal interest to venture outward yet dually connected.
What he has achieved so far is
Great. But In my opinion Just investing in tech is risky. If there is a downturn it could be hit hard.
Thats his point - software is a business model, not an industry. There is no economic trend that hits all software equally
Everything is getting software and going to grow a lot more…It’s hard to fail…
Very proud of been Puerto Rican.
