I just picked up the seasoning jar and plan on using my griddle today. I think it's been 1 year since the last time I used my Blackstone.

Howdy Josh - Been seeing a lot of commercials for Blackstone Griddles now, they must be catching on lol. I probably shouldn't have watched this when I was hungry... those burgers look awesome! Looking forward to hearing how you like it after a season of use. Thanks for sharing 🤠

I love it so far but I'd say it's not good for my ever expanding waist line... haha... I've had it for a few months now, but need to get to the cabin more often so I can use it more... may end up with a second one at the house in the burbs... lol

Very useful. Can I ask you if you washed the sticker adhesive and stain off ? Or did you just season everything off. When I unboxed mine, there were stickers everywhere.Thank you Mr.Hardy@@hardybrothersproductreviews

@@roderickarina I did a quick wipe with soap and water, dried it and dove right in. Mine was actually a floor model so I wanted to make sure it was cleaned up. That said at 500 degrees I assume everything will burn off.

After seasoning it first and doing all the steps in the end when you do your final seasoning you let it cool down and wipe it off before cooking? Or is that seasoning edible?

How Much Of Product In Jar Did It Take ? Thank You

I’d say I used about 25-30% of it the first time. I think they sell larger jars but I have the smaller one.

For a 36” griddle it says on the jar to use 3 tablespoons each time to season
      28” 2 tablespoons
      17/22” 1 tablespoon

Yeh I did 5 I think... but haven't done it again for over a year... I just clean it and apply a generous amount of canola oil and cover with a silicon cover, the lid, and a blackstone cloth cover... when i open it next time i burn off the last round of canola oil and add some fresh and get to cooking.... love it!

It tells you on the jar how much to use. Why no one reads instructions!

So why not comment with the recommended amount for all those that didn’t read and came here to do it?
