It always impresses me how compact everything in Japan is without looking cramped.
That always amazes me too!
it always looks super cramped
Kind of a necessity when you have such a sizable population crammed onto a series of small islands, but that also means they've had over 1000 years to work out how to do it.
@Super Nostalgia 1) I'm already a Christian, I'm just private about it most of the time because this form of proselytizing seems more like prelist and usually puts people off to your message rather than makes them want to hear you out. There's a time and a place and moments for people, and that's how reverence works.
2) with that in mind please keep it relevant to the video m8.
I really hope you bought that gameboy.
I love to see how cheap it is for many items that are coveted by the market and they're all kept in crazy good condition
Shut up
I love this series and i hope it would never end. I hope i can go to Japan some day😢
@Fippity_Fipper this is what most of us would be doing if we were going to Japan.
As coisas que ele acha barganha, custa o triplo pra gente... É foda
Without a doubt you bought that Sakura GameBoy!
I can't believe i'm living my fantasy trip through your videos right now.
Absolutely love this series. In early 2020 I booked a cruise which went to Japan and was so excited to go to a bunch of HardOffs... only for the pandemic to come along and cancel it. Oh well, at least we have Sendico and of course you're brilliant channel! Look forward to more from this series and of course you're haul at the end!
And here i was thinking i needed to fly all the way to Japan to score the amazing games for a bargain lol. But seriously I just recently made an account for sendico thx to your videos and I'm beyond impressed. The prices are so amazing and affordable unlike the prices i use to pay on ebay. I know i sound like those corny paid actors but I'm being generally honest, thank you so much! I can finally start getting my Gameboy and Famicom collection started!
You were meant to have that Sakura taisen gameboy. There's no way you did not buy it! 🙏 I guess we will have to find out on the next episode, or during your haul video. Incredible series man. Keep up the excellent work!!!
Toward the end of the vid, I could not tell if I was watching The Retro Future or a National Geographic special. The scenery is just majestic. As for that special edition Game Boy, I know you, Elliot, you bought it.
I’m so glad these uploads are so frequent! I thought they would be much more spread out so I’m thankful. I am glued to this series! Such a great idea and you’re executing it perfectly with the production quality. Looking forward to more
I'm absolutely loving this series man! I really want to go back to Japan again!
lucky you even went!
The Pokémon Mini made me unreasonably happy to see, it's a device that never got much attention, but was just such a cool little thing. I still have mine (Chikorita Green) as well as every game that came out for it that made it out of Japan, and I still play with it every now and then. Pokémon Pinball Mini is always pretty fun to go back to.
These videos are so great to see! For someone who lives in America where you can’t even get battery’s for a good price at this point seeing all of of the potentially lost media and so many good condition consoles just makes me so happy!
love the series im so happy for you to go to japan and thank you for filming and sharing with us.
You're making my trip to Japan want to just be just retro game thrifting lol
I discovered hard-off on my first trip to Japan in 2017 and that sent the whole trip sideways turning it into a huge "thrifting across Japan" episode lmao
Ended up moving here, and yet still thrifting! Probably most of the stuff in my apartment is from hard-off one way or another. Certainly helps that the japanese "Junk" rank is often close to "Like new" from ebay by our gaijin standards :P
Shut up
Eliot definitely has been watching Tokyo Lens videos, while angrily shouting about how he isn't buying any of the Game Boys.
The mountains are always stunning. Seriously, it can't be understated how beautiful the country is. Japan is so much more than Tokyo!
The Sendico staffs looks so wholesome, it makes me want to use their services just to support their business!
Been watching you for about 2 years and this series just seems so fitting for you. Finally being able to go and see the places that most of your videos content comes from is just perfect. Keep up the good work!
You got the Famicom Game Boy FS lol
Love all the stuff/new Japan videos, glad you got the opportunity to go! Always good to feed your legal addictions.
Japan ftw, love how tidy and organised everything is (and how well kept their second hand stuff usually is)
Can’t wait to travel to Japan and hopefully find some gems 🔥
Me too one day I’ll get there!
It's fun following your expirence doing what I loved doing myself in Japan!
I'm glad there's still plenty of treasure to be found, you should have seen what it was like when Japan just opened, it was mental!
I'm never going to financially recover...
I have one of those beautiful Origami Cranes in my game room. Such a lovely touch! Sendico's packaging is just beyond perfect!
Love these series! Keep them coming!
I am absolutely loving all of these videos! From the nostalgia of the Gameboys to the views of Japan...this is fantastic!
really enjoying this series. thank you
Great new installment of this series Elliott. Really love Japan, I hope to go there someday as its on my bucket list. I dont want to be that creepy old guy buying video games at a Hard Off when its too late for me LOL
I so look forward to this series every time you drop a new episode, Elliot! Glad you had such an amazing trip!
Another great video as always, been loving this Japaneae series 🔥
Ya gotta love japaneae stuff
Dude all those PSPs had me drooling! Some really cool finds
didn't see a psp 3000 tho or a go
Damn, all these hard off stores are way more filled with goodies than the ones I went to. I see so much stuff that I definitely would have dug a debt hole in my wallet for.
Shut up
Oh my god, want to give a big hug to Nanji san!. Had one origam on my last package, keep it like a treasure on my desk. Beautiful detail. Yes, sendico packaging is outstanding, never had a problem with them
I watched so many retro game hard-off tour on RUclips and you did the best.
I hope that you're able to do more trips like these in the future. You make such high quality content. c:
This series is great and is making me want to go to Japan and experience it all myself.
Such an incredible series! get me in Japaaaan!!!! The car culture, the gaming culture I can't get enough
your production quality has become amazing!
as always the music and video shooting in these videos are amazing and wonderful!
Looks like an amazing trip thanks for sharing it with us.
Amazing video! Those hard offs always have a bunch of interesting stuff. Glad you had a good time in japan Elliot
Can't wait to see the after-trip haul vid, going to be wild
This series is amaaaaaazing!!! I bet you got at least one game n watch!
this series has been well worth the wait. my prediction for what you bought is a copy of... adventure island!
Elliot: "It's probably mint brand new!"
Sticker on the box: "scratches and dents, battery acid leakage marks on the display"
I’m loving this series. I have a friend who’s vacationing in Japan right now. I’ve sent him on a few missions after watching your videos.
I saw the pokemon video player briefly in your last vid and thought it was strange that you didn't mention it, now I see : ) can't wait for that one!
This has been an awesome journey, another banger.
I wish the UK had shops like this, super cool finds!
That Sakura Wars Gameboy is honestly the only Gameboy I truly want. I've always loved the color of that and watermelon red N64. $300+ would make me too nervous to ever take it out of the box though lol.
I had a pocket Pikachu and have missed it every day since it was stolen. I love how many cool things you've found and fixed! Somewhat jealous that you were able to visit Japan and find all these cool treasures!
you changed the thumbnail 3 plus times now, what gives LOL
on a serious note, so cool you went and saw MT Fuji and experienced that, those retro shops are amazing, it's like being in a candy shop as a kid 😁😁
Fantastic video as always, you've inspired me to start collecting gameboys
You know what, I think you bought that Sakura Game Boy for sure! 👀
So many great stuff for so cheap! Fantastic!
Also breathtaking view, Japan is so beautiful!
Honestly, I would have totally bought that Sakura GBC... and I know you totally picked that up. I can't imagine passing that up, especially if it is selling for double online.
Cant wait too see all the cool stuff you bought
I freaking love this series!
Man said “Secura” and is walking freely in Japan
I can't believe you found all those old Game & Watch handhelds. Of all the many I had years ago and lost, that DK gave me the most memories. It's such a fun, challenging, and fascinating take on the original which added to me a very fun mechanic at the top with the crane and key, aped from DKjr of all things. Also that FDS you teased. I'm in the process of the video, curious if you got that thing. I've always wanted to make the attempt to fix one of them, tear down, gears, belt, the works, just to say I did it, and because I saw ways to rig it up with either of the US model systems which I think would be a real challenge.
I love this channel. We can’t let Game Boy die!
9:12 I just melted a bit, especially seeing that beautiful Rayquaza holo box. I want it so bad 😢
Superb choice in music for these videos, Elliot
Awesome finds!!!!! You are the king of nintendo finds!
Thanks for these series of videos Elliot, I hope you can manage to find even more awesome stuff about handhelds in the whole world not just Japan.
Can't wait for the Pokemon VHS player repair video cheers mate
I always enjoyed your content but now I know you’re in Game Boy heaven with all those consoles!
That Pokémon VHS player is so cute 🥹
elliots back at it this store looks
Glorious!
Awesome work man.
You surely bought the Gameboy Color Sakura edition!
I have been watching these all in series now and love them. I hope you do more vids like this in the future, even if it's not Japan.
I hope to do stuff like this too someday soon!
Side note... you wanna sell me that Pokemon VHS Player? lmao
I think you bought the Sakura Wars GBC, as finding an old special console in such a good shape is just amazing..!
Truly a trip of a lifetime, thank you for taking on this journey.
You bought the Sakura Gameboy Color. You can’t miss out on an opportunity like that! 😂🤣😂
Another good video man I wish I can go to Japan
On episode 3 I'm still utterly shocked by the deals. I hope you got that boxed famicon gba!
Damn, that soundtrack which is starting at 7:14 is FREAKIN AWESOME!
please tell me you bought that Sakura gameboy!!!! god thats a gorgeous piece of history
Lovely 'episode' again.
Makes you realise how expensive those sellers on yahoo auctions are, eh? :D.
I recently saw a new video from tronicsfix where he said he wasnt sure how to fix game boys and i straight away thought of this channel
This man encouraged me to get a gameboy. I start watching his videos, and before I know it, I have an Atomic Purple Gameboy Color with Pokèmon Yellow. Best £100 I’ve ever spent.
You 100% bought that Donkey Kong game and watch. I had that very one way back in the day!!!
Guessing what you have bought? Ha Easy! You bought everything Elliot!!! :D
My prediction for what you bought is……. Some really noice shizz! I’m jealous. Awesome series mate!
6:43 Yes i would buy it and Yes you did too. You can’t leave it there, you just can’t!
7:45 feels like Minecraft creative mode like music and everything 😂
I’m confident you bought a bunch of rare themed portables that you are gonna repair for future videos.
Genuinely impressed with how well everything is organised in these stores, everything looks so good!
Shut up
Cool, nice view thanks for sharing
I'd love to see a video with you and Chris Broad (Abroad in Japan) dining and drinking out.
This place is definitely a bucket list when i visit Japan
“Do you think I spent $300 on this minty Sakura Gameboy Color?”
Yes yes yes I definitely think you did. I would have in a heartbeat.
Of course you've bought it :). I cannot imagine you leaving such a beautiful thing behind :D.
Loving the Japan content
My heart is meting this shop is perfect.
You absolutely bought that retro-looking, mini Sony antenna attachment thingymabob. Don't lie to me, Elliot.
Elliot, i'm eagerly awaiting the Pikachu VCR video, my Pikachu VCR is also in need of repair, so i'm hoping both of ours have the same issue.
I hope that some day I can visit Japan and check out some of these retro game shops.
Such a great video. One of my dream things to do is fly to Japan and make purchases from local retro video game stores 🥰🔥🔥
That pokemon VHS is a MUST BUY! What a find!!!
You are living our dream man, among GBCs, GBAs, casios watches and cool japanese food, really a dream!!!!!!!!!!!
This is fecking good content
