Nice design. I agree with some of the comments about a little more explanation of the materials/dimensions, but still very helpful just seeing it. Besides strings, I also make cable sets for compound bows (personal, not for sale) and need a much smaller post for the loop that attaches to the cam, so I would insert a smaller dowel in the top of the big ones for those times. Some of my strings are 80"+, so I could see having two sets of channels, one "normal" and one that is super long. The super long length is just unwieldy unless it is truly needed. Again, nice video, thanks for taking the time to put it together and share it.
Very nice. I would do a couple of things differently, to strengthen the posts sink them in holes in wood blocks instead of just screw+glue, and since you can move the two post end I would just make the single post permanent but I think this is great. So nice when we can make things that work fine and save us a couple hundred dollars!
You should use some descriptions man , like what materials are you using or what are you doing . I would be werry grateful for them . Thank you . Kepp up the great work . You awesome . 😉
Having the dimensions would be a nice touch. Bolt sizes etc. Other than that it's a great vid. As for the complaints if you don't know what it is look it up in google.
What is the inside width of the server? The same question could be asked...What is the length of the spool? I have looked everywhere for this information. My guess....it looks like 2 inches.
I have just checked how much a string jig can cost... A pro one is about 350€, and not the best... This one can cost a 25 € (more or less) all done, and never go to an end.

Very needув thing, man. Great!
Great idea. Would have been a great instructional if you would have put a material list and some dimensions.
Great suggestion!

about two inches
simple...
With the amount of time and materials this requires, wouldn't it be cheaper and easier to just go out and buy one?
Dude, those bowstring making jigs arent "cheap" at all
@@leonruvalcaba1549 that's my point. Go buy the string.
@@PatrickHealy As a very frequent shooter I need about 3 Strings a month...it would be very expensive for me to buy them new.
@@leovongames8901 wow, three string a MONTH? That's a lot of shooting.....

I wish we could learn the dimensions of all parts

What is a bow string jig? Maybe you should have told us in the editorial below the vid. I can not imagine I would ever need on. I'm gone!
Thomas L Carpenter If you have to ask, then you shouldn’t of watched this video. Everyone else knows !
