Man what a great album this was. I was growing up listening to these guys in the Azores. Dad in the military. What great times those days were. I want to send this to Josh Parrott up in Heaven rip my brother.
the most UNDER RATED band in history!!!! seen these guys MANY times in the 80s and 90s... finally got to see them as a headliner in 2009.... they just never got the respect they deserved.... my humble opinion anyway.... TESLA ROCKS!!!!!
Just saw Tesla this past 2/14/17 at the Ryman in Nashville. They have not slowed down one bit. His voice it still amazing. They play like they give a shit about each other and they audience. Really good vibe.
I was a sophomore in high school when this came out and just got my license & dating this girl Heather Czermak. Five Man Acoustical Jam was always on. To this day when I hear a song off it, it brings me back right to 1991. Such fun and carefree times!!! Very nice soundtrack to great memories! Thanks Tesla!!!
@@ObamaFromKenya I haven't got the slightest idea. Her sister Kim was just the nicest and coolest person. Yeah, I'm from western ma Barry. How did ya guess that?
@@abefroman70 I mentioned western mass. because there are a few Heather Czermak’s in that area whose current age means they were in HS in 1991. Anyway, it’s a nice story about hearing Tesla.
back in the early 90's, my older brother went to a tesla concert in sioux city, IA in the middle of a blizzard/ice storm, and he told me that there was only about 100 people that showed up. he told me after they played the normal concert, they did an all acoustic set as a special thing for the few fans that did show up.
Later that year Tesla dedicated this song to the memory of Tom Fogerty, who died 6 sept that year. Age 49. He died in Scottsdale,Arizona of AIDS. ( specifically from a tuberculosis infection ), having contracted HIV from blood transfusions for back ailments. I listen to Frankies guitar over and over again ! Excelent performance !!
Thanks. I spent half the day getting them to fix the broken PA at the Troc. It was awesome working with the great Dave Hewitt who also recorded Frampton Comes alive, we had a great time that day.
R.I.P. Rock.In.Peace. Tom Fogerty from Creedence Clearwater Revival who sadly Passed away on September 6th, 1990 From Aids caused by a Tanted Blood Transfusion for & Suring a Back Surgery Tom Fogerty had at a Hospital near where Tom Fogerty was living at the Time in 1990 In Scotsdale, Arizona.

This track was a watershed, for me. Opened me up to CCR, Skynyrd, Cream, so many "old" bands, when I was just a dumb kid.
Watershed band ll by
my first ever song by Tesla, also is my favorite!
Touched my soul
Only TESLA, could do it as well as CCR,

it's actually a real pain to mix 5 acoustic guitars, drums, and bass, a violin and several vocal mics in a huge space. kudos.
Thanks. I spent half the day getting them to fix the broken PA at the Troc. It was awesome working with the great Dave Hewitt who also recorded Frampton Comes alive, we had a great time that day.
