@@chippersonsencyclopediaemp1318 yeah I got a little too serious. But I keep seeing ppl say opie is why steve killed himself and it just isnt true. Good day sir.
@@cincinatus90 when you dissect mental health issues in regards to suicide i can understand the argument. Incessant opie hating gets on my nerves too and i never REALLY liked the guy! Id say the show definitely wasnt good for a mentally unhealthy suicidal man, but that's certainly Steve's responsibility to remove himself from the environment before abandoning his family. Steve was a laughable asshat but its still sad to think where he might be now if he had sought proper help You know part of his therapy would be writing a letter to individuals on the show and expressing himself 😂😂😂😂 But to lay a suicide at opies feet is just infuriating and stupid
The beauty of a Steve Bashing was that it could literally come out of no where. Someone said Marry two things together and we got an epic 10 minute beating from that.
This clip was hillarious, nothing was going to stop that. But can we take a minute to acknowledge how valueless the callers jokes were. Thanks again opie.
What made this top tier, was my YT going straight into "The Beatings of Terry Clifford" after the video ended. I was already laughing myself red-faced and almost choked to death.
One of many things I don’t understand about opie. When Jim and ant are going back and forth making each other laugh hard, he just chuckles. He does this so all the time. He laughs more at what the callers say. Insane. I’ve heard this clip many times and I still just don’t understand

I was having fun until their reaction to 8:28 That's a good fucking call. It was long but perfectly delivered and excellent content, but it went "too far"? They've made fun of dead children (hilariously), but saying Steve makes his wife dress up like he-man (hilarious) is going too far? Oookay.
Metal Mayhem Listen, stupid. It's a bit for the show. Steve's wife isn't a part of the show like Sam's. Ergo, she's off limits to the general listening public. General ball busting does have borders, dummy.
@@billcarrig9434 "Making my pregnant wife dress up like He-man" isn't crossing the line. And, if the guy knows she's pregnant, then it was aired. He didn't say anything bad about the wife. That's a "Steve is gay" joke. If Steve were single, that would have been an equally as effective line. "We know his wife we like his wife" is not a reason to not make a joke. Again, the caller didn't bring the wife into it like "Steve is gay because his pregnant wife's pussy stinks" If you want to cross the line of "oh no it's inappropriate" then isn't calling her husband a faggot crossing the line? What does that say about her that a faggot married her?
@@billcarrig9434 And ok, if you want to use the "she's off limits because she isn't part of the show" route, at 3:01 Jim sings "All of my friends have beards for spouses." Steve's friends aren't part of the show, and neither are their spouses, THAT isnt off limits?
@@metalmayhem3622 I definitely understand what you mean dude. I actually think it's more "a listener is making a joke involving Steve's wife" , and less of a "zteves wife is off limits".
