Getting lost with you once a week in your vlogs is so damn good ! Sharing your adventure with us is the best idea you could get while making this final project ! Thank you man :) wish you the best
Morten these are awesome man. Not only because they show beautiful landscapes, but because they show the amount of time and work required to create something epic. From the failures and let downs, it shows that everyone has them and sends the message to keep going, keep filming, keep shooting.
Another great travel vlog Morten! Thanks for sharing! This has to be one of the most spectacular landscapes on the planet! - Robert from South Africa 🇿🇦
Wow! Jaw droppingly stunning. Thanks, again for all your beautiful work, it is so uplifting and it shows how darn hard the effort to create it is, your determination is inspiring.
Really great vlog. Did you have a guide /driver or did you drive yourself? This place is so huge and easy to get lost in and with the various holes I'd imagine you had to be very careful when driving?
This is the experience of a lifetime. I am really enjoying these videos, coz you are giving us amazing insight into south america and places that are not the typical tourist traps. I can’t wait for the final result. Something tells me that this is going to be your best work so far!
Your vlogs are great, places are wonderful but learning about that places is another delight. Keep them coming Morten. I look forward to watching next one when video has just ended.
Morten, this place looks amazing, and I can bet the timelapses will turn out amazing as well! Looking forward to see the clips from here in the final video. Btw, the blues in some of the pictures looked reaaaally saturated and dark (for example at 2:48 and especially at 4:42), I'd probably tone the saturation down a bit - the scene is already beautiful enough without aggressive post-processing!
Flat you say... makes one wonder it they are understanding what they’re looking at when they see perfectly flat mirrored reflections over hundreds of kilometres of landscape
Steve Porter Why? The reflections are way more prominent, it only filters the waves because they move. See here for example: www.smartphotography.com/blog/long-exposure-guide
The reflections in that article are soft, because of the moving water. He's after sharp reflections, the kind where you could turn the image upside-down and it would still look right. Yes, using a long exposure looks good, but that's not what he was trying to achieve.
So this video is about YOU. I 'learned' a lot about you filming, walking, looking...3/4 of the video is focused on you moving around and doing stuff. Bah.
Salt lakes are allways great for this kind of shooting. Back in 2007 was on some like those in Africa Shot El Jarid (Touzeur.border Tunis/Algeria) eh, completly dry and with salt was harvested there. There was no option to do Sunrise- or sunset- TL's cause going on a very steep angle, and too fast. Gear, right be carefull with the salt eating your camera's, lenses, tripod and your controlers. Did the genie survive this area with water, salt & wind?
Hi Morten! Im so glad to see you in Bolivia! Im originally from there (although i live in Germany). Please, if you need anything, feel free to contact me. I'll be more than happy to help 😊

The diversity of the landscapes in South America are incredible and to see even just a glimpse of them is fantastic viewing Morten.

Not the place only is amazing...you are too
Georgeous. Cool place. Is it hard to breathe there? Did you tried to taste that water?)
One question, You will do a video with all your timelapses? I really want to see timelapses, because in these videos just see videos and photos
Why didn't you use an nd filter and really slow shutter speeds (~10 seconds) to have still water?
Because he was after reflections. He wouldn't get that if the water was moving, no matter what shutter speed he used.
Steve Porter Why? The reflections are way more prominent, it only filters the waves because they move. See here for example: www.smartphotography.com/blog/long-exposure-guide
