Thank you, Peter and Mary. You are two beautiful children of God, you radiate his love and live in love. I have followed you for many years and went and watched from the start of your vlogs..... and now across many of your social media platforms. Why? Specifically because you, ‘Talk the talk AND walk the walk”, to say it less eloquently the you have. Your successes are because of this, there is no ‘script’ so to speak, no agenda. Gary and I were talking about this in a round about way this morning. We are heart broken when we hear and see the derision that is evident all across our nation. In our “little town” yesterday a wanted felon with firearm charges was shot dead on the outskirts of our town in an altercation with a policeman. And then with a great number of police. We happened to pass by this scene, while we were on the freeway, going to get medicine for our fur baby. It was on a side road running along the freeway to our right. So many police cars and police everywhere. One policeman was shot in the leg I believe and air lifted to a hospital. We heard later on the news this felon was also a white supremest. We were shocked. A white supremest in our town? How naive we all can be. For whatever reason our country is gasping for air right now. We as followers of Christ need to pray continually for our government and the heart of the citizens of this country to listen for the word of God. To do the right thing by being loving, kind, thoughtful, patient, honest and to have self control. God is the maker and perfected of our faith. We must pray for each other and for the unbelievers who are tossed to and fro with no compass to guide their way. I love listening to your sermons Peter. I love listening to you and Mary share your hearts together for the glory of God. You are both so encouraging. Thank you both for all you do for all of us. Helping us see the beauty and complications of disease...the God Spirit in everything that happens to us in this life. We are made in the image of God and we are here for a purpose. However large or small it might look, God has a plan for our lives. What a blessing it is to be part of the Kingdom of God! Love you both! So happy I found you! Grandma D.
Hi Peter and Mary. You know I think of the part in scripture where it says Satan is the ruler of this world. And I watch my acquaintances and friends that are not Christians and how the only thing they're involved in is getting wrapped up in this world. They have opinions and arguments and they take stands on certain issues and they're entire inner world and outer world is involved on as Mary said the kingdom of now. And when I listen to them talking I just want to interject and say wouldn't you like to be able to think of something bigger than this. Wouldn't you like to come out of the entanglement of this world and be able to see yourself in a much greater world the kingdom of God. I don't know, I just see it so clearly when I am talking with people that don't know Jesus at all. Or maybe they know Jesus but they still have an agenda. And they want to put their agenda on to other people so that they can feel right. So that they can feel that they have validity in this world. I just love what you were talking about today. that we live in a different world. Yes, we are in the world but we're not of this world anymore. And that to me really shifts everything. Thank you guys so much for this very wonderful teaching today. And the reminder of what we are involved in. I love you guys. you are incredibly important in my life as I watch you guys live out these beliefs that we are to have when we know Jesus. Have a great day.
Every Friday there's this food distribution place called the Brige Of Hope. People start lining up to receive food. When you get there you go the last of the line. There was a man and he is homeless and in need of help. I arrive and he let's me go in front of him. I'm thinking why does he let people go in front of him. He clearly needs the food more than I do. Out of the goodness of his heart he's kind even though he's in very much need.
