I love how this song existed at a time when the whole “consent is very important” wasn’t a wide spread thing. I love how it’s talked about a bunch today, and I even bet this song helped in some way. Seeing her sing about it at a time like that is just awesome and truly inspiring. She never tries to do what is “trendy” she just does what she does.

I was born in 1996 and this was one of the first albums I ever got, I learned every single song by heart! Such great times.
My Older Brother William was 7 years old and I was 3 years old when Avril Lavigne released "Don't Tell Me" on March the 15th of 2004.

I can’t believe this album is 20 years old already. Don’t remember much of the other album she done before as I was born in 97 but man let go and under my skin are what avril looks like in my head and will always be. My favorite album is "Under My Skin" because even though I was born on 2004 all those songs, I can really relate to, not the crappy pop songs that have no fucking meaning!
