@@shinobicl pushing the beat to the forefront gave it a punchier sound, with less focus on the abstract elements, which created a more mainstream sound overall, which in turn opens it up to more mainstream audiences to enjoy, i.e. user friendly. Or, ear friendly in this case. That's just an observation, not my particular musical taste. I'm a Boards of Canada freak. I prefer the original BOC track, but am impressed with what he has done here.
