Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie are making a reality TV comeback, and Nicole's dad, Lionel Richie, has some hilarious (and slightly worried) words for fans.
The OG Reality Stars Are Back
While details are scarce, Paris and Nicole teased the new show on social media with the caption "New Era. Same Besties?" Fans are understandably excited, especially as Lionel confirms the iconic duo's signature dynamic will remain.
"They are older, but they haven't changed, trust me," he laughs.
Lionel: The Original Reality TV Dad?
He jokingly adds, "Those two scare me just standing next to each other!" Lionel even claims Paris and Nicole were reality TV pioneers! "They started this mess," he says, "and I was the first guinea pig daddy to go along with this."
Memories (and Medication) for Dad
Lionel recalls past antics with a chuckle. "When they first started doing things like driving down the freeway backward... I kept saying, 'What are you two doing?'" He adds, jokingly referencing medication, "Oh my god, world, hang on to your seat. Thank goodness I'm older and my medication will get me through this next phase of our lives."
Heartfelt Support for His Daughters
Despite the playful worry, Lionel concludes with genuine support: "I'm very happy for them."
