Hi G looks like a nice bright sunny day that’s so nice to see and your going to be trucking again so I wish you lots of safety being on the Highway! I’ll be honest I don’t know much about sawmills but my Uncle Pete who was like a Father to me was building a sawmill just before he passed and he got his plans from the Farmshow magazine and he used old disc brake rotors and space saver tires for the blade to run on and at the very end I could start to understand how it worked and it was good experience to learn about! And so I am watching from a student’s point of view and can’t wait to see how it all goes together! But I just wanted to comment on something completely different and that is how strong you are! You grab the laminated beam from one end and it moves all the way along and you do it and it doesn’t look like it takes any effort at all I sure hope I never get on your bad side 😀🇨🇦
I'm enjoying the process. I'm hoping to build a model a powerd sawmill sometime in my life. I have that model AA truck with a flatbed I plan on using it to haul lumber. Kinda like the Waltons did lol. I live in a fairly small town and I think it would be fun to deliver lumber in the spring time when we are on road restrictions and I can't drive my log truck.
Looks like a great plan coming together Geoffrey. Can’t wait to see it in action.
Yeah, that's the problem project's aren't cheap.
But it looks like it's coming along nicely

Go for it! What’s life if you don’t enjoy it. My father-in-law said “do it when you’re young because you can’t when you’re old”.
very intersting
Yes, everything takes longer than planned and costs more than planned.
