Quite the operation, Geoffrey 😎🔧
It was always disappointing when I would be trenching with an old Vermeer 8 foot trencher and it would keep caving in with a 300 foot roll of pipe and then we would dig up the pipe and make a nice cut to try the trencher again and the same thing happened so it was open cut all the way so instead of getting done in one day easy it would take 2 . And when you said it wasn’t deep enough it brought me right back to those memories and it’s times like that where if you don’t grease your machine and you’re digging all day it can start to show wear and you also need grease that stays where it belongs ah the good old days it’s funny when you’re living it it’s not always so fun but look back somehow it can put a smile on your face just knowing you made it through 😀🇨🇦
I didn’t help today but I’ll be it touch with him to see if he got through the rocky hard pan he ran into digging with excavator.
Awesome man
That's amazing, looks like quite a job. I'm jealous of the lack rocks.
I know its not a very good video but this came up unexpectedly so I had nothing to hold the phone.
Cool
👍👍👍 That rig is a little New for You Geofrey. Nice Job Tom
Thank you, one time I instinctively reached for steering clutch handle in the middle which doesn’t exist.😂
Happy New Year Geoffrey! Can’t wait to see your progress and hear the stories of yesteryear!
Good Morning Geoffrey, just thought I would say hello. I have missed you lately.
That’s a cool engine to rebuild, never seen the inside of one. Happy new year
This Australia?
Merry Christmas mate, I hope you’re keeping warm there. All the best for the festive season, look forward to seeing progress on the knucklehead
Whether severe heat or cold my body doesn’t take it as well as I get older but I can take cold better than heat. Hope you are having a good holiday season. Are you working on any particular project or just jumping around to what fits your fancy on any particular day? Either way I always enjoy your videos and have a good New Year.
@@oldamericaniron5767 you’re going alright mate, at least you have an area inside where you can keep working. I will be working on my old 1971 V8 for a startup. It hasn’t been started in 45-6 years so I’m keen to get into that
Take care my friend and Merry Christmas to you and your family!😀🇨🇦
I am looking forward to watching this build. I have never owned a Harley but I love to listen to them run. They have a very unique sound.
merry Christmas my USA friend. my dad spent over 15 years of his life working on and building old harleys, BSA, triumph, etc at my Uncles shop back in the 80s and 90s, they imported and collected alot of items from the USA also, i beleave they were one of the best places in Victoria, AUstralia at the time to get hard to find parts. so this will be a interesting one the watch
Very cool Geoffrey. Ofelia is insisting on watching along with me. The offer always stands if you need a hand. I’m not far away.
Merry Christmas! 🎄
Thanks Geoffrey. Merry Christmas and have a Happy New Year!. Cheers from down under, Evo.
Looking forward to this winter project and Merry Christmas to you and yours!
My work bench has several Diseases "CLUTTEROSIS' and "NEVERCLEARITIS" lol looking forward to seeing this project.
I had a friend once say that any horizontal surface in the shop somehow collects stuff, how true it is.
Always interested in your projects. Thanks for taking an old guy like myself along. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your family!
Thankyou, hope you enjoy it. Remember when you felt like the young guy on the block and now you’re the old guy, when did that happen!😂
👍
Awesome man!
Best place to have a project this time of year is where it's warm 😊👍
Thanks for sharing, looking forward to seeing more progress! Merry Christmas!!
Right on G,a project where you’re not breaking your back and you don’t need a shop crane! Merry Christmas and happy New Year’s to you and yours 😀🇨🇦
The complete engine is quite heavy and I used to carry them around no problem, we’ll see how that goes when the time comes.
@ 💪😀🇨🇦
Merry Christmas Geoffrey from the Buck & Doe Ranch, keep up the good content. 🎅🎄
I like your videos, always hoping you will post a new one. Merry Christmas.
This looks like an awesome project. I'll definitely be watching this one!! Merry Christmas, Geoffrey to you and all your family!!
It’s been 20 years since I’ve done an HD bottom end. Half the time will be digging out my tools for the project.
Good morning from Greece. My father also had the exact same bulldozer. You brought back many memories.
Merry Christmas to you and your family
Awesome project for the winter.
not a Harley fan but i love to see people finish what they started and i will be watching Geoff finish this project
That why I retired 3 years ago. Didn’t haul grain but it’s all the same with winter weather. It was 1% road and 99% brain dead 4 wheelers.
His whole lane is bear pavement and not a quad in sight you goof,
@ I didn’t state I would call it with those minimal conditions. I was stating a fact about other drivers during winter weather road conditions ….goof
@@salmonella508I drove UPS delivery vehicle for 35 years no matter what the weather. I have plenty of time to get the last 10 loads in by the end of the month so why drive in it unnecessarily. When you said 4 wheelers I’m sure you meant cars and in my experience you don’t need bad weather for drivers to do stupid stuff . Also no matter how careful you may drive you have no control over the idiot who may ruin your day. So I think we know who the goof is.
Pouring rain here! So humid, I'm sweating like a pig!!!
Rain here too but it's 10 degrees
Smart move
And here I though you were on your way to the North Pole lol. Stay safe out there.
The roads are clear, send it
If it's not going to stay running then what the hell go rent one I'm serious.I wouldn't even imagine video of it.This is embarrassing
Found one for $150 before the summer, the carb was messed up. Luckily they made that similar carb for lawn tractors. Was able to rebuild it with the bits and the lawn tractor housing. Still have a ways to go. Wish there were places near south Jersey laying around for me to pick parts off of.
Loving it more every day. Thank ya brother
Just love the old trucks. My grandfather would take ANY diesel over the gas engines of the era. 👍
No matter how you view it, that is one sweet truck!
Just curious-do you know if this C160 Cummins is the original engine? My Dad drove a very similar mid 50’s White WC26 in the early 1960’s. It had the old gas White Mustang inline 6. It was also the same color as your truck. Thanks for sharing the videos of such a classic truck!
That sure beats carrying it 😎👍
That come off a Lindsay air compressor? Wisconsin v4h
What goes up must come down eh G 😀🇨🇦
Unless you launch it into deep space.😂
@ 🚀You pull that off and you’ll start getting job offers from Elon Musk 🚀😀🇨🇦
Done that before but I am young. Also you get creative when you don't have any space.
Yes, you learn how to put 10 pounds in a 5 pound bag.
Just passed a Jimmy and a White.....
O-H-I-O Porters🇺🇸 The red trailer looks like a Dorsey. I was watching to see if it had the retractable legs or not. Nope. You had it propped up well. I’ve pulled a few of those with a single axle tractor. The White looks so odd pulling a 53 foot trailer, but COOL! Love seeing the old truck in action. Good stuff! 🥰😎✌️
I don’t know the make but under that red paint it is all stainless steel. You can see Clairmont through the paint on the sign.
O-H-I-O Porter greetings 🇺🇸 Cool old truck. I’m not familiar with that old Cummins model, but I’m sure it’s reliable. I have a 51 REO with the 6 cylinder Gold Comet engine. Blessings my friend! 🥰😎✌️
Them old Cummins like that wasn't much for power but they would run forever. And with a back drop manifold sounds really good
